Is the Toyota brand really worth 100T+ more than the competition?

Fortuner also has more cargo space when using the 3rd row as montero has zero.

    • I like the cabin more than the Montero. The montero feels too cramped, for me at least.
    • The looks. I didn't like the montero's tail.
    • Better torque curve for the Fortuner. Though it is less powerful, the delivery of power at low speeds feel better for me. drove the montero and the power kicks in too late in my opinion.
    • the new montero for me looks too much like the old one. Like it just has gone through a huge surgical upgrade but still the same old body and cabin.

How about interior fit and finish? Which is better? Everest, Fortuner or Montero Sport?

Not mine sa Tita ko at ang reason nila Toyota at matibay that's it. Pero wala naman silang idea about sa ibang brand. wala silang alam sa sinasabi ng SA nila. ngayon ako naka-assign ibalik pag umabot ng 5k dahil sa transmission issue, they just know how to drive that's it!

Sa akin naman honestly earlier this year my first choice was just between Everest or Fortuner before officially launch.
Of course I wouldn't signed any papers without a single test drive. After my test drive I totally changed my mind from getting the fort. instead now it's between Everest or Montero. cabin space isn't an issue for me since Civic ang current vehicle ko ngayon and it's totally fine with me, apat lang kami. looks I've seen Montero and Fortuner side by side sa isang parking lot at parang naging mukhang luma yong fort. monty rear still looks great for my taste. Pagdating sa Everest It's more on a classic SUV look, timeless design ang exterior kumbaga. Interior design I like the fortuner winner for me except sa fake wood ginawa nalang sanang glossy black, sa Montero GT I don't like the plastic wood doesn't look right much better sa GLS, Everest trend looks ok. But when it comes to power It's Montero, sa Fortuner 2.4L max torque na at 2000rpm too early imo higher than that nagiging ampaw na at least ginawa sanang max at 2500rpm gaya ng Eve.
and finally the ride, I think it's equal between Everest trend and Montero. may difference but I liked both the ride comfort not sure about titanium. Fortuner still rides like Fortuner iba yata sa Australia ang setup? so October excited na ako either Eve or Monty.

Yeah, don't understand why manufacturers keep on using faux wood. Trying to mimic the upscale brands using real wood. They are even worst over there in India, the even do that with the steering wheel. Then in China they are very fond of chrome trimmings on the side of the doors.

Some people actually prefer the looks of the Fortuner. The Ford Everest Trend seems the best bang for the buck but still not sold on Ford's reliability. Then there's the adage "you get what you pay for." Although some are saying that some Ford models here are cheaper than in other countries.

The rear tailights of Montero Sport can be remedied, just foil the lower part with the same color as the body.

Sobrang exaggerated zero ang space sa montero with the 3rd row up.
Mas maluwag lang ng konti ang luggage space ng fortuner compared sa Montero but the everest has a bigger luggage space with the 3rd row in use
