alam din naman ng Pinoy na pag 4x4 when engaged consumes more fuel, but when not used often parang feelig kakalawangin yun 4x4 parts

Ever wonder why most PPVs have like 3 to 4 variants sa 4x2 models, pero iisa lang 4x4. Kasi nga sa 4x2 sila kumikita.

For example Nissan Terra, may VE na tig 1.6m na sobrang barebones vs sa 1.8M na fully loaded. Pag kuripot ka, you get the 1.6M pero you end up with a bare product na 17 inch, non leather, not push start walang camera, 200k more you get more blings.

yes, dati pang anchor nila 4x4 with all the bells and whistles kaya nga totl but the price difference is huge compared sa next trim. so yung iba, bili ng 4x2 then yung natipid, ibili na lang ng new set of wheels and tires and other aftermarket blings. since hindi rin naman halos nagkakaiba sa hitsura, dikit lang ng decal o emblem, pareho na[emoji85]. minsan makakatabi mo sa parking mas maangas pa at mas mukhang 4x4 ang hitsura.

counter -intuitive naman kasi talaga yun 4x4 na luxury top of the line SUV. Eh kasi mga makaka-afford ng price neto mga Executives or VPs ng company na hindi naman marunong mag-dirty ng hands, what more mud all over the wheel arcs, stepboards, and tires.

Dapat ang sundin ng car dealers yunline up sa Australia, Isuzu MuX has an entey level 4x4 MuX there catered for Farmers,
LAndscapers m Plumbers, Outbackers at kung anu-ano pa that require muscle and hard labor

Ewan ko ba, the lesson has been there, kokopyahin na lang ang marketing.

meron din kasi gusto talaga yung totl kasi nandun na lahat yung amenities, they want the best for themselves and can afford it naman and so you can't blame some buyers to buy a 4x4 kahit hindi nagagamit. another mindset ng pinoy ay yung "kung kailangan eh nandiyan"[emoji5] pero eventually kapag nabalaho, engage si 4x4, kapag ayaw hintay ka lang marami na tutulong magtulak[emoji1787]

As far as I know, the LTO MVUC is based off the vehicle's gross weight and not off its engine displacement.
