well, on the CUV vs PPV.

Just from experience with PPVs, I know at least with what we have in our market, they can be loaded with 1000kgs max load. I think the MUX 1.9L is being rated as limited to 750kgs (do correct me if I'm wrong).
The PPVs I feel are more practical for our market just because of the inherent flexibility they can offer without breaking much of a sweat.

I loaded the previous gen Montero with 20 bags of sand (40kgs each sack/bag) and just had it vacuumed after. If it were a CUV, I would never have done such a thing.

And the advantage of being diesel powered also showed there as even with that amount of cargo, the engine wasn't really struggling. Granted, I wasn't really climbing a mountain road or racing from A to B, but it paints a the practical side of the PPV choice.

Have a relative who also overloaded his previous gen Fortuner with more than 1000kgs (measured as the cargo was weighed for shipping) and the car was fine after lugging the weight from down south to Manila.

I can't imagine the fuel bill of a similarly sized gas powered CUV hauling 5-7 people plus gear.

Can't really call the ladder frame 3rd world coz the US has ladder frame SUVs and pickup trucks. These actually outsell sedans. I wouldn't call the LC200 a 3rd world product either.

Another thing about ladder frames. No rattles and squeaks even after years of abuse. Some CUVs take less than a year to get them squeaks and rattles.

Yes i agree with you.. pero sa public transpo.. mas ok ang EV..

Iba pa din ang may internal combustion engine eh.. yung EV kasi parang walang "soul" yung dating.. iba yung character nung may engine na naka idle then you shift gears.. floor the gas pedal and hear the engine roar

i predict... that in the near pollution-free future, the internal combustion engine will be the "eyesore" instead of the "soul".

    At a discounted price 1.549M

why would one even consider a gasoline CUV nowadays, na hinde na nga gnayan ka loaded
price range is in the 1.650M up.

Montero ride quality is good na din .

actually lahat yan meron ang bluepower pero 1.599M or 50k more expensive.
    Tapos 2 airbags lang bluepower.

And I checked resale value of previous Gen Montero, nasa 700k pa as compared to used gasoline cuvs at 500k

Pag eto di nyo pa din na decide-an ewan ko na
Basta ako kaya ko lang share to, para makagawa ako ng Mabuti sa kapwa, having owned MUx vs SF Crissovee vs CRV crossover, I’m so satisfied with mux the best and now that Montero is more value for money, I’m sharing my analysis, malay nyo swertehin ako, nagkarun ako Montero di planado.

Kasi swerte ako If I share my analyses
