The ones with donut spare tires were manufactured later than the ones with full size spare tires ...hence the ones with donuts are technically newer ...

early last year when i was inquiring about the Eve, the variant that gets most of the full spare tires were the 2.2 titaniums. the 3.2 titaniums including the totl has the donut type installed. all the sales agents i talked to are clueless as to why that was the case.

i got one of the earliest releases of the 2.2 titanium premium, and it has the original rim as spare. i know from the posts here that some owners who purchased their Eve way ahead of me have donut type spare tires, so manufacturing date might not be the most accurate basis of who gets the donut type and who gets the full spare tire.

i'm not sure if it is still the case nowadays of the 2.2 titaniums getting the better spare rims than their 3.2 counterparts.

Got my 2.2 Titanium just a few weeks ago (April 22). It came with a full spare tire.
