Anyways, maganda naman talaga montero. It was actually my first option dahil sa mga nababasa ko dito and on a car magazine. Heck, suv of the year pa nga diba? But upon checking and seating inside its cockpit, sa quality pa lang eh hindi na worth yung 2m ko. Hindi ako mayaman so I make sure na matutuwa ako sa bibilin ko.

the thing is if we analye the carnappings and carjackings and the recently popular rent sangla scam, the destinztion

of the cars are the PROVINCES, where the implementstion of the law is weaker.

your new Forts, Montys, MUXes can be driven naman sa provinces provided that your destination is secure enough like say you have your own parking lot say sa resort or sa hotel or youve beeen there na swveral times,

but what about yun mga first time as well as leaving your cars in a connecting city motel or a beach port or even Roro. you work all your life to afford that luxury car that is PPv and you literally send your car to the wolves - the promdis who buys these marvelous looking vehciles.

with a Ford or even a Chevy or maybe a Hyundai, nobody is interested in that. i do have another provincial well-maintained car alternate too, a Santa fe. these cars I being pag ang lugar hindi ako kampante.

you know the funny thing sbout this buyers of carnapped vehcilesm gusto din nila ng durable cars na mananakaw nila, so they only set their targets sa jap cars. wtf! nakuha na nga nila ng libre, gusto pa low - maint. it's so mind boggling but it is a reality only here in the Philippines. it's like mag-charity ka at mamigay ka ng 4x4 Ford Expeditions sa isang isolated mountain town, maiinis pa sila sayo at nagbigay ka lang, ford expedition pa
Actualy they carnap vehicle is more on the street. Kasi its safer for them to sell the car chopchop for parts.

sa carnap, obviously di ka pa na-carnapan. it takes three months for the insurance to pay you and that is after a lengthy investigation period na tense na tense ka coz a third party insurer doest really concern about your trauma.

for me, this is where Fords have the edge, carnappers and carjackers avoid American cars like the plague. yun Ford Explorer ko nga iniwan ko na yan sa Vinzons Port sa zbicol, sa batangas port and other ports where I need to go to an islabd for a 2 night r&r.

can you seriously do that to your brand spanking Forts, montys and mux. the main purpose of vacation is peace of mind, how can you have peace of mind when your jap car is under the hands pf promdis na bibigyan mo lang ng 180 per day parking on a place where you are a total stranger. but not with Fords, fords dont interest the enterprsiing people, sa rent sangla ngs, walang ford lol
Naiwan ko na sa port of catic lan yun bigbikes. Yun car sa clark for a week while im out of country. But then tsambahan naman lahat. If say ford is less prone to carnap. It may be but when circumstances have perfect timing or easier to carnap. It will also be. Yun china motorcycle na cacarnap nga din eh.

if you are just basing it on test drives (AND EVE TEST DRIVE UNITS ARE 2.2 TREND MODELS) sasabihin mo talaga na malakas hatak ng eve. the 160 hp of the 2.2 engine is more than enough to give you that adrenaline fix. pero pag nakasakay ka na dun sa binili mo na 3.2 (like me, tested the 2.2 then bought the 3.2) e MABIGAT. lalo na nung sa akin mga unang labas ng eve e siguro pinapakiramdaman pa ng fordph so tuned down ang engine. ONLY AFTER THE 1ST 1000KM PM DID I FEEL THE POWER OF THE 3.2. mas lumakas na siya after the 1st pm kaya nasabi ko last year na ganun nga feel ko tuned down ang engine.

i've only tested the 4x2 monty. kung 2.2 4x2 eve vs 2.5 4x2 monty then its almost all butt feel. halos pareho sila, depende na sa apak ng pedal. for me lamang monty, much lighter ang feel. the eve after all has heavier body panels. pero pag eve 3.2 4x4 vs monty 2.5 4x2 lamang ang monty ng malaki. laki ng weight difference. HOWEVER this comparison is not equal. yun lang kasi 4x2 ng monty na-test ko so i can not comment on the 4x4 monty. dapat talaga if you will compare the eve 3.2 you must compare it to the 4x4 variants of the other brands.

huwag kayo nagbibigay ng opinion na hindi 1st hand. madaming buyers ang nagco-consult sa tsikot.com bago sila bumili. if you atest to something you did not personally experience it is 2nd only to telling a lie.
Yup 4x4 monty ko heavier by 100 plus kilos than 4x2 that is around 1 ton. Lightest ppv on the market due to its alum engine .

Kung may 100 reviews at 5 lang doon says the otherwise compared sa 95 Let the lurkers be the judge kase sila yung hindi pinaka bias dito. Dahil sila pipili pa lang.

contrary to what most of you objective thinkers do, fanbois are passionate coz they are truly passionate with what they have. d'ba nga marketing and selling is all about appealing to the emotion first. how come mas iinom ka ng starbucks blended vs. halo-halo sa kalye if given a choice, kasi emotional ang unang-una nagbibigay sayo ng choice to choose whatever it is you want first. ano ba ang appeal ng starbucks vs. sa halo-halo sa kanto diba

    being passionate is one thing.
choosing to being blind to the truth, is something else.

here's one truth na baka bigla kayo kumambyo sa choice nyo. we all know that America is a continent with one of the harshest places on earth. meron dyan snowy area, meron desert, meron mga naglalakihan rock formations etc. etc.

The thing is Ford is made in America. And America is who for us, we blindly follow America lifestyle, hollywood, political setup. willing nga tayo magkipag-gyera sa China coz we love to follow everything America suggests, their ideas, their courage, their SPIRIT>

so who are these Americans that we blindly follow, In America, their Montero or Fort is the Explorer, their Land Cruiser or Safari is the Expedition. and with them having more treacherous weather and landscape than us and yet their workhorses are the mighty Ford build tough. so how can you say that what they have is a lie, and we are the truth. diba. think about it .
