What variant did you get? Which dealer? How long did you wait? Ok ba SA mo? Nakapili ka ba ng ending ng plaka? What was the clincher that made you go for the everest? Remember, to share is to care. Thank you.

And to think of it, mga USA made lahat ang mga ginamit na sasakyan dito sa atin during WW2. DPWH is still using the old Ford Fiera for employees service lalo na sa province which are proven and tested na. Wala kang makikita na olds Japanese cars during WW2 na ginagamit pa till now ang mga pinoy. From that point of view, matibay ang mga American cars. And syempre nagimprove din design nila ngayon.

From what I gathered sa research ko. Sa mga PPV natin ngayon, I'm talking current generation. Eto mga issue, which a big deal sa pagpili ko.
MUX - NVH is not good, and still using euro 2 engine. Interior is modest compare sa iba.
MONTY- Steering issue, masikip sa loob, and yung design is not my cup of tea.
EVEREST- Auto level ng headlight some model have this issue.
Yung setup ng upuan sa likod is not good design IMO.

To make is short, Everest Trend ang binili ko which up until now wala pa lumalabas na issue. NVH is good and Sync3 is the latest, sound quality is superb di na kailangan magupgrade, navigation map na lang ang kulang which us nit a big deal and safety features is nandyan pag nalagay ka sa alanganin.

Accidents like my classmate total wreck SIR civic. Which insurance paid the car. Kahit anong ingat mo. So insurance is peace of mind over all. You spend money on vacation. You also need to spend money on peace of mind. Regarding sa parts ng ford. Surplus and Replacement parts are cheaper than oem parts. If the car is not abundant. No one will sell replacement parts and few are surplus . Auto supply and casas will not sell or stock slow moving parts. Small matter Such as aircon vent. Power windows cable and motor etc. major engine and trany parts. Surplus for door and trims. When the car get old you would not want to spend much money on parts that is close to its resale value. Lets say you accidentally destroy your engine out of negligence. Our 5yrs old mitsubishi L300 engine was destroyed by our driver due to over heating. Would cost 40k if i order new cylinder head and wait for a month. While surplus just cost me 7000 pesos. People love isuzus not because they are reliable but because of abundance of surplus among trucks. Even turnilyo meron.
While Isuzu may not be the last word in refinement but from my experience it is a cockroach. I had a 2001 fuego 4x2 (4JA-1 direct injection turbo). For the better part of a month I drove that thing with almost no coolant in the radiator due to a pinhole leak. I only noticed it because of all things a sticking gas pedal. The rubber boot melted around the throttle cable. That is when i noticed my temp. needle gauge would swing wildly from normal to red every corner i turned to.

After having the rad. repaired engine was back to normal no head gasket leaks nor were there any head warping issues until it was sold a few years afterwards.

Yeah! I went to casa rin para sa 1K PMS. Changed fully synthetic. Though sinabihan ako na i can go back for 5k pms for visual inspection and if ever bumaba yung oil, i need to top up daw. Yung 5k interval puro visual inspection so pwedeng hindi ka pumunta if gusto mo. No warranty void You need to top up pag bumaba yung oil, or gusto mo magpalit ng filter coz may matatapon talaga if nagpalit daw.

There are those who purchase a brand bec. Of it's proven brand reliability, meron din naman bumili ng iba bec. He feels safer driving that car. Hahaha.
