SUA is true! My experience goes like this, I was parking and now hit the brakes to stop before the car in front of me.

However, I didn't feel my car like stopping so I depressed more the brake pedal. I noticed that my car is not stopping but accelerating! I was starting to panic so I had this sudden inspiration to pull the handbrake but still, the car is now moving fast.

It was moving fast that I started to panic until I saw the car besides me have left. That is when I realized that my car have long stopped since I intended but the car besides me then started to move coincidentally.

Sorry, I know it's an old post but I've got nothing else to do. Just messing around...

That actually happened to me back in college!!!

I was parking at up coop to print some things for a presentstion, and all-nighter yan literal na 1 hr sleep lang.

As I was reversing into the parking slot, I panicked because I was pressing the brakes but the car kept moving backwards! And I even pulled the handbrake to no avail!

Ayun pucha the car beside me was just going out at the same time I was reversing.

well, it happened to me, too.
mommy's big paso de bongabilla was rushing toward me, even as i pressed onto the brake pedal.
then a little voice whispered and... i remembered the other brake pedal to the left...
saved!

buti na lang, nag down-shift when i stepped on the first brake pedal..

In my case, reverse SUA.

The other day, nagtataka ako bakit bawat tapak ko sa silyinador eh humihinto at kumakadyot yung sasakyan.

Yun pala instead of the accelarator pedal, brake pedal yung tinatapakan ko.

Ako pag galing sa stop tapos naka inclined. [emoji16]Umaatras kasi kahit naka D so inaalalay ko ng left foot ko yung brake while the right foot steps on gas.

i fortell many accidents during the learning curve.
besides, haviing only one foot operate both silinyador and brake pedals, is logical, because it makes for exclusivity. "there can be only one". either one accelerates, or one brakes.
