i would instruct the person to use the handbrake, instead.
    it's less un-natural.

besides, haviing only one foot operate both silinyador and brake pedals, is logical, because it makes for exclusivity. "there can be only one". either one accelerates, or one brakes.

Yes those are the correct way of doing things. Less chance of an accident.

I agree with your idea. This makes your braking response a lot quicker than just the right foot doing both braking and accelerating.

Same same lang din yan.. kung mali pa din na press mo disgrasya pa din ang ending... dapat talaga medyo mataas ng konti ang brake pedal sa accelerator..

My point is by doing so manufacturers can completely remove the possibility of pedal confusion. As for 'there can be only one' it's trivially easy to put a bypass on the accelerator when both pedals are pressed because cars today are all drive-by-wire.

    i don't know...
i'm so old, i can not imagine braking the car, using my left foot. it just does not feel right.

so what happens when i want to go fast, but my left foot mistakenly steps on the brake as my right foot steps on the brrroom pedal? as a result, i get rear-ended.

it seems to me, we are simply replacing one problem with another.

    oh! one more thing..
what do we do with the clutch pedal? are we recommending to ban the MT vehicle from public roads?

I like driving go-karts but I would not suggest doing the sane driving style on your daily driver. With a kart, you’re always on full throttle unlike your daily driver which you rarely push to full throttle. Braking is more of modulating a kart to attack corners unlike with a daily driver which you need the brakes to deal with stop&go traffic.

Hi po sa lahat! I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but since I'm a newbie and I can't start a new thread, this seems like a thread that I might post these inquiries. Anyway, I am planning of buying a new SUV and my choices are among these popular SUVs: Terra, Montero, MUX, Fortuner, Everest and Trailblazer. I have (sort of) checked their specs and now I'm just curious as to how each stack up against each other in terms of post-purchase costs (in particular, PMS costs and fuel economy). I'd like to crowdsource and I'd really appreciate it if owners of these SUVs could post how much their first few visits to CASA cost them and how is the fuel economy (both in city and highways) of their SUV. Thanks!
