    Welcome back paradoxx/(forgotten username)/xpander2k17

    BTT:
2000 units ang pre-ordered xpanders na sa atin. I think mababa sya? What do u guys think?
Siguro yung iba ay standby mode to see it in the flesh and yung iba wait mode din to iron out early model wrinkles

Good point, bro! No need for all the fanatic support for such affordable MPVs. There is really nothing exciting about similar vehicles like the Ertiga, Spin, Mobilio, BRV, Xpander, Avanza, or Rush. They are meant to be all-around small and fuel efficient family vehicles.

A more honest review from owners is highly appreciated. No car is perfect and there will always be better, more comfortable, and quicker/faster vehicles other than your ride.

Ito yung mga nakapagtest drive na...

    ""Elmer Chua

All in all sa xpander ako. Exterior looks sa xpander ako kasi mas bulky tignan and mas maganda tlga. This is my personal review on brv and xpander"

    Itest drive nyo kasi... LOL!

Kaya it's better to see the actual color of the unit before committing, yung iba kasing sasakyan di bagay sa ibang color, but it's subjective though sa owner, some like it some not.

For me the Xpander and Rush are on the "big size" 7 seater MPV. For the usual 7 seater MPVs like BRV, Avanza, Mobilio and Ertiga, I liked the riding comfort of the Ertiga and with a more elegant interior. The best part is I still got it below 800K.

Yup, Rob Calasiao hehe. Yes, it lacks "premium-ness", if that makes sense. From the sound of the doors closing, the cockpit materials, etc. I was comparing it to my current car, which is not really fair to the Xpander, but I don't care about fairness since I'll be the one who will be stuck with it.

Not planning to get one, napasali lang sa hype.

The size was OK, acceptable na siya sa akin. Other factors, like the lack of a "wow" factor, or maybe it just does not fit my taste.

The Civic does tend to spoil you. I don't think any of these sub-1M budget MPVs will satisfy that taste for a more upscale feel. I'm happy to report that the CRV feels even more premium, not to mention more spacious. [emoji6]

Only thing I don't l don't like is that they took out the remote engine start and the auto up/down function of the passenger window, both of which are already present on the cheaper Civic.

Yeah, I took my uncle's CRV (gas) for a spin a few months ago, and it felt very premium. I liked the front seats, I found them to be very supportive and comfortable. I will miss the remote start feature, though, especially on hot days.

There is a reason why these MPVs are cheaper than compacts and CUVs. If manufacturers fitted them as good as compacts and CUVs, they will be more expensive. Case in point are the more expensive small crossovers - CX3, HRV, and XV.

Yep, maganda nga yung 2nd gen Carens. It has that same feel inside like a Sportage and it looks like a smalller Carnival. The turbo diesel engine is a plus. However, at around 1.4 to 1.5M, it is PPV price territory already.
