My thoughts...

Skip the wading capability as I highly doubt any of these would go through rivers or very deep floods. I have an XV but most likely will never drive it offroad or through rivers. Dati natry ko na sa accord half tire deep na water, wala naman problem so I guess these vehicles can do better.
Power? Where will you use it daily? Any of these should have sufficient power for PH traffic conditions. Some people may say model X is underpowered, but a good driver knows how to maximize your engine performance. Want power get something with a big turbo diesel.
Features, check the units you prefer and compare which have better features.
Interior is depending on you and your passengers preference.

I would get the Honda though, have two and both have been very reliable overall.

Kasi ang labanan lang naman jan beauty kung bebenta. You can go technical ala car magazine pero sa itsura talaga labanan.

they may all have been ugly, but they performed well. and they sold very well.
in its day, the pregio was said to be the ***iest of breadloaf vans. so how many bought one?
and the L300. it was ugly, yet it outsold the pregio. if L300s were to all disappear overnight from the roads, baka hindi tayo maka-kain ng paboritong jack & hill snack and lucky me noodles sa makalawa.

Since na facelift na yung mobilio, i agree with this. Rear of brv is awkward and the wannabe suv tag is questionable.

Ako hindi ko gusto yung likod ng bagong montero pero pag tiningnan mo yung top 10 best selling vehicles dito last year, magugulat ka umabot pa ito sa top 5 at pumapangalawa sa benta ng mga ppvs.

Kung ganun talaga ka-importante yun, malamang mas onti pa yung benta niyan kaysa trailblazer kaya ewan ko na lang kung ano iniisip pag sinabing ganun ka importante yang likod eh.

TOTL BRV costs just 1.150M. That already comes with leather seats/steering wheel, smart key ignition, automatic climate control, paddle shifters, etc.

The base model Montero GLX only comes with a manual transmission and none of the aforementioned creature features. It costs 1.42M, almost 300k more than the BRV. Most people I know will not settle with a manual if they wanted an automatic in the first place. The cheapest automatic Montero is the GLS at 1.7M.

Yes, the end of the year is a good time to revisit the Xpander's true demonstrated sales performance. I'm seeing a lot of posts hyping the car so much when it hasn't even begun shipping to buyers here yet.

Yes its true that the TOTL BRV is loaded. But then again don't overlook what a base mid-size SUV can offer which the BRV cannot. Such things as higher wading depth, more solid/rigid body for safety, Road flexibility, cargo capacity, more powerful engine. This is the consideration for TOTL BRV buyers which in Indonesia was a reality. Like I said, only time will tell who will be the king of Gas MPV here in our shores. A Hype is a hype but sales will conclude.

The sales figures justifies it all, with the BR-V outselling the Mobilio 1:4 in 2017. If I am honda, baka nga si Mobilio pa ang i-drop ko.

Back to reality..personally sa pagkakita ko sa dalawa, mas unique ang xpander, Rush parang chopsuey,
pinaghalo halong CR-V, Revo at Avanza. Trying hard SUV. Pero let the buyers judge them, these are all my
personal opinion.

Ang pagkaka alam ko meron ang Rush, di ko lang alam kung ang dadalhin dito meron na, kase pag nagkataon, yun lang ang ilalamang nya sa ibang MPVs.
