Exciting itong segment, 7-seater small MPVs.
Great option for a small family, or even for uber/grab. Could be the replacement for the phased-out AUVs like the adventure, crosswind.

pag napansin ng tao na brv is not aging gracefully eh babalik sa mobilio ang sales.

Br-v didn't even made it to top 15 in Indonesia, surprisingly Fortuner and Montero outsold the BR-v last February.
Doon sa kabila, malalaking PPV diesel 7-seaters. Dito naman, mga small gas 7-seaters.
Bakit di nyo na rin isama yung Suzuki APV?
[QUOTE=satori-san;2950744]Its because pricy ang BR-V. The Mobilio sells a lot better than BRV because indonesian's are crazy about the practicality of a car.
The BRV outsells the Mobilio here in the Philippines, same case with Southeast Asia as a whole:
The BRV's performance is even better in the Philippines vs the region because it's the second best-seller next to the City.Honda Retail Sales Ranked by Models
City: 169,124 (+6 percent)
HR-V: 102,182 (-2 percent)
Jazz/Fit: 99,534 (-9 percent)
Civic: 89,850 (+51 percent)
BR-V: 71,924 (+19 percent)
Brio: 65,325 (+26 percent)
CR-V: 62,987 (+43 percent)
Mobilio: 39,376 (-22 percent)
WR-V: 37,031 (New)
Brio Amaze: 31,236 (-26 percent)
The Xpander also isn't more spacious than the BRV. The space difference between the two is negligible. The BRV has more 3rd row legroom, the Xpander has a higher seat position.
The pricing of the Xpander is good as it slots in between the Mobilio and BRV, but even with the BRV's higher price point, it has outsold all other MPVs except the Innova and Avanza. The Xpander will surely shake up the market, but without any sales figures for the PH market yet, all is speculation and hype. Volume discussions now are all premature.
Also, hindi konti ang idadagdag for a Fortuner. A BRV 1.5S is 1.030M, a Fortuner 2.4G AT is 1.682M. The 650k price difference is already over 60% the cost of another BRV. You can get a BRV and Vios for the price of a Fortuner. You can send a kid to private school for 5 years with that price difference.
The market for PPVs has generally higher purchasing power that a BRV/Xpander buyer might not have.

Ah ang mahal na pala ng Fort. Wala na ba yung sub 1.5M model? Im considering TOTL BRV price around 1.2M plus the closest to Mid size SUV. Since eto ung point ng mga buyers w/ budget na may consideration. Difference of 200k to Monty GLX I consider maliit given sa difference/jump ng vehicle type.
The price of Xpander is between BRV and Mobilio but very close sa Mobilio. Almost similar. We will see how it will affect the BRV sales and other SUV by the end of the year
