October 14th, 2007 01:12 PM #14Actually 13,000 plus Vat. Ang masakit, low milage car ito. Less than 8000 kms a year ang tinatakbo.
We have it serviced once a year or when the service indicator light tells us to do so. Yun nga lang the 1 year always comes 1st.Last edited by userfriendly; October 14th, 2007 at 01:23 PM.

hmmm....afaik yung mga 2000 and up bimmers (with synthetic oil) should go 12,500 to 15,000 miles without servicing. mga USD 500 ang basic service and almost 1,000 yung major service....

If the back seat is the only thing that matters, your best bets are:
Honda Accord - my choice... terrific suspension... the best in the class for its blend of suppleness and control. I prefer the suspension tuning of the Accord to the Camry, as it keeps you comfortable over bumpy roads.
Toyota Camry - nice and plush.
Nissan Teana - supposedly more comfortable than the Camry, but I haven't ridden one yet.
Mitsubishi Galant - nice back seat, comfortable riding... but Mitsubishis always are.

If you're of the mind to, take a look at the new CUVs. The 2.0 CR-V rides very well for a CUV, it's within your budget, and it's much more fuel efficient than many of your other choices.
If you can stretch for the Santa Fe, it has a good rear seat, a good suspension and the occassional third row is the most comfortable in the price range.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Those yellow cabs are Ford Crown Victoria cars, mainly the full-size luxury car of the Ford line up. They're bigger than the Camry, Accord, Teana/Cefiro, etc which are basically entry-level near luxury cars. If you want executive sized cars get the full-size cars such as the BMW 5, MB E, etc type of cars. I don't recall Japanese brand cars that have these cars in the Philippine market but here in the US Toyota has the Avalon, Honda/Acura has the RL, Infiniti has the M45, Mitsubishi has the Diamante, etc which are basically a level up to the Camry, Accord, etc.
A used MB S, E or a BMW 5er is your best bet if she wants to be chauffeured, especially the S class long wheel base. Drey presented a really nice MB, the w140 chassis, but it can be pricey to maintain.
I've seen Lincolns there, maybe those are worth a look especially the Town Car, essentially the luxury version of the Ford Crown Victoria but with the Lincoln brand name instead.
