the vios and the mazda definitely have better interiors than the accent and lancer, and if I remember correctly, the accent at that price range still doesn't have mags or power windows
the lancer is just... dated compared to the subcompacts you listed.
Haven't seen the new vios' interior but IMO, the mazda2 has a better one than the pre-2010 facelift vios. the vios has better gauges (optitron), though. and the new vios sports that "cropped" steering wheel, and an aux-in.

June 13th, 2010 12:20 AM #22Considering the fuel prices nowadays (kahit pababa mataas parin) I'd take the Accent, which has more hp than the 2.5 Fortuner and almost as much torque. Hindi na masakit (or at least ganun kasakit) kapag pumupunta sa gas station . At makikita din natin na dumadami na ang Accent na taxi ngayon, at alam natin na ang mga taxi driver alam na alam nila ang sasakyan nila, so the Accent must be a really good car for cab drivers to pick this over the Vios.

Mazda 2, mukhang maganda and fresh. Alam mo naman dito sa pinas, having new and unique car is such a great comfort to our purchase. Given its a Mazda siguro ganda ng handling.

1. Hyundai Accent (kung CRDI variant ang kukunin)
2. Lancer Cedia GLS (bang for the buck pa rin kahit gas guzzler and old body)
3. Mazda2 (new looks kasi and modern looking)
4. Vios (ewan, nagsasawa talaga ako sa itsura nang vios pero maganda ang FC daw)
It looks like solid state batteries are the next big thing. Will manufacturers allow retrofits to...
