sabi ng may ari ng talyer sa banawe na pinapagawan ko, mabili raw ang toyota (altis), dahil maraming piyesa at madali raw kumpunihin.
sales talk?
or shop talk?
i used to nissan.
and i confess, toyota parts are easier to source. many are cheaper than the other marques', too.
a car writer said, "toyota builds reliable but boring cars. if you want exciting cars, go to the showroom across the street".
so i suppose the question to TS is, "do you want a boringly reliable car, or do you want a ***ier, more exciting car?"
21 year old Toyota, kahit converted, kahit durog ang ilang aircon louvers, kahit napaltan na halos buong front suspension at brake system, walang kalawang sa body at pang ilalim, ang makina maaasahang tatakbo araw araw, at ang radiator hanggang ngayon hindi pa napapaltan!

Based on the replies, its better to stick with honda/toyota. Add ko sana Lancer GTA but we have a bad experience with Mitsu. Flooded units is not a problem here as long as Cebu Plate Unit yung kukunin since wala masyado baha dito. So its down to Altis 2.0/1.6 and Civic FB/FC. BTW, planning to get a white color.
Of course Brand New is best option if budget is not a problem. However, I think 2nd Hand is also a great option as long as you check everything thoroughly to avoid any hassle. Great thread![]()
