I am not sure on the 3.5L twin turbo V6 gas kung darating dito...
Mas magiging mura yun because of jpepa pero kung sa new model pa lalabas, baka mas mahal pa based on estimation dun sa pricing ng lc300 sa uae.

221 Toyota Prado review: Now 5Nm. On & off-road baby Land Cruiser test. - YouTube

Best review of the totl prado so far though not sure those options (power folding 3rd row, paddle shifters, Multi select terrain control) etc., are included in the version here.

Update: just checked...they are NOT available in the model here. Meaning dont even bother as they stripped it out....

0-100 kmh time for this diesel 2.8 liter new engine Prado is 11.8 secs. If that is of any interest. Test is some where in the 15 min mark of the video.

From a performance stand point, that 11.8 second time is a bit pedestrian. Uunahan ka pa ng Jazz nyan. Well, it is not meant to be quick anyway.

If you want a quick and fast midsize SUV, then it has to be the Explorer. If you want something nimble, then the CX9.

For those needing a 5-seat SUV which is nimble coupled with a high ground clearance, look at the Outback. An agent told me that they might be bringing over the Outback XT (same engine as the Ascent, 2.4L turbo) by the end of the year.

I’m passing on the explorer and cx9. Looking at Ascent reviews, seems a bit old school in terms of looks… I know that the prado has changed much over the last decade but it the more expensive ascent doesn’t exactly scream premium or luxury. Then we have resale value, plus feedback from Subaru owners that maintenance of units over 5 years is a pain. Again, I love the captains achairs. If this were priced similar to the explorer I’d probably take this in a heartbeat.

I love the Ascent. Aside from the symmetrical boxer engine, it is a true 7 seater. Alas the price is the deal breaker.20210626_094341.jpg
