I've heard many good things about the Altima overseas. But despite being available locally for quite some time, I don't recall ever seeing any on Philippine streets so far. I don't know if its bad marketing on Nissan's part or that the competitors are just that much better. But even if it is a good car, a very small local population will mean poor parts supply outside the casa, especially in the long run. This can be a huge headache and might lead to months-long time out in the garage due to lack of spare parts. When that time comes, it'll be near impossible to sell.
