+1. A '96 model will set you back roughly 200k. I had one of these before, very reliable and fuel-efficient (12+km/l, mine was a matic). Plus parts are abundant and cheap. The body is not rust-prone like the '92-'95 models. Civics are also one of the most customizable cars. And they have good resale value. If you can find one with low-mileage, buy it.
