The 3.5 li (2GR-FE) of the Camry is really not much of a gas guzzler compared to the 2.4 li (2AZ-FE). In fact, the RAV4 in the U.S. uses the two engines and the difference in their fuel consumption rate is only1 MPG.
Genuine leather seats (not combo) installed at Kelseats will probably cost P50K or so. Along with wood panelling, I estimate it would less than Php 80K for the upgrade.
Features added to the 2.4V on top of those on the 2.4G.
-added wood grain to shifter, steering wheel and console box
-8 way front power seats.
-2 way rear passenger seats.
-rear passenger armrest control panel
-tri-color speedometer
-leather upholstery
-power rear sunshade
-Cruise control
-Immobilizer
- In dash 6 CD
My vote goes to the 2.4G. If the abovementioned features are not important to you, then go ahead and the save the difference the two variants.
