2001 nissan patrol 4x2 diesel almost 80k mileage..

For me, the Patrol is definitely more of a keeper... heck even the old Safaris still look good and sturdy.

For a replacement diesel, Fortuner? Sta. Fe? Everest?

What are the size qualifications for the replacement SUV?

patrol...same body as recent patrol plus 1 year is a big difference in the used car market

Pajero for me... Just a fanboi! Much more space in my heart since childhood years...

So in my situation (kasi fanboi po), I'd sell the Patrol, buy that rusty Gen 1 Pajero which worked as a farm truck for 20 years in Bukidnon. Restore it, give it a SAS, improve suspension & articulation (maybe put air suspension), put MASTC and e-lockers, change to 4D56 CRDi, make it look bad-ass like a G-Wagon.



My objective is to make the world's most capable stock looking Pajero.

keep the pajero, na solve na ba problems (inj.pump,turbo) ng patrol? bring the two sa car dealers, they'll give you the same offer for both units, around 700-750k (trade-in value).
