1st Time Car buyer - Please advise mga sirs - Altis vs Lancer vs Elantra

Greetings tsikots!

Bago lang ako dito sa tsikot, pero marami nako natutuhan sa mga nabasa ko at sobrang ok na car site nito.

Ask sana ako advise base from your experience, plan ko kasi bili ng brand new car at down to 3 choices nalang ako:
1. Toyota Altis 1.6G MT
2. Hyundai Elantra 1.6 MT
3. Mitsubishi Lancer EX 1.6 MT

Mga base model lang yung gusto ko na manual. Bali matipid ako na tao so priority ko siguro ung maintenance cost and yung overall reliability.

Sobrang magiging helpful po mga insights niyo, salamat!

you cant go wrong with the ALTIS... but i like the looks of the lancer...

Plus one on the Altis... not just because I have one (2003 though), but also since I've driven the 2012 (basta yung latest) Altis 6-speed M/T. Yung Elantra, ganda rin ng porma at nanalong COTY pa, so di rin naman siguro papahuli sa performance. Advantage nga lang talaga din ng Altis eh serviceability. Kabisadong-kabisado na ng mga talyer kahit sa kanto. Easily available pa ang parts.

Pero TS, eto din problema ko before but I was down to two which were Elantra and Lancer. I ended up with Lancer, nagsawa na ako sa itsura ng Elantra. Try mo pa titig titigan magsasawa ka din. hehe

Nung una ko kasing nakita itsura ng Elantra, wow na wow talaga ako. But not anymore. So I decided to go with Lancer EX M/T.

I've owned two GLX Lancers(1989 and 2001) and one Altis E(2005).
Kung sa porma, siguro nasa tumitingin na yan pero sa Lancer ako.
I feel mas matatag sa kalsada ang altis pero mas later model kasi yung aking altis.
FC, parehas lang. Nasa driving habit na yan
Maintenance. Hindi nagkakalayo. Depende na yan sa shop
Resale value. Lamang ang altis
Kung bibili ako today. I may get a Lancer. Nakakasawa tingnan ang Corolla.

+1 for this, that's why i got an altis now. as many have told and also my opinion, lancer looks good

For me, get the altis then second na yung elantra. :-)
