Pangalawa, kahit malaki na inimprove ng reliability ng Hyundai, I still don't consider them 'bullet-proof' kaya ideally, driver driven pa din kung SF kukunin ko.

You are obviously very biased against the Koreans. Too bad, it's only your loss. The Hyundai diesel engines are very much better than Toyota's or Isuzu's turbo diesels. I've heard of people complaining about the fuel injectors of both Toyota and Isuzu but never from Hyundai owners.

Very Biased? Sinabi ko malaki? Eh mid-size naman talaga yan SF eh.Hindi bullet-proof? Eh yung maliliit na bagay gaya ng gulong, coolant reservoir bottle, at clutch ang nasa isip ko -- mga bagay na talagang hindi tumagal sa 3 naming Starex over the past 10 years na yata. Layo nun sa makina ha.

Guys malapit na pasko and the good news is that there will be offers by some of the companies listed at the poll that will offer cool holiday deals

The wife and I are constantly scanning the papers for great deals because she needs her own brand new "Mom Mobile" after years of putting up with the old one.

Baka meron ngang mga Zero Interest offers with some extra freebies

It's his loss? Grabe ka naman... Ano yan? Anong mawawala sa akin if I choose Mitsubishi, Nissan, Ford and other Japanese makes?

Don't make final judgments. You speak like you see the future. Right now, since you Korean fan boy is acting like kissin' n lustin' your SUV's. You might ditch them in the future. Just like what happened on the Isuzu Trooper.

How can you say so? Do you have any proof about this? What an irresponsible post you've made here mate. Go search something in the net first before you throw some garbage.

This thread has been full of Santa Fe owners. Even other SUV's cannot breath anymore. So much for pride.

Ano ka ba... Yung Santa Fe mas reliable nga kesa Fortuner...

Really?! The Santa Fe is really a saint. Going back where Fibbo was saying... Haven't you heard any problems with Kia's Diesel? Kia is a Korean car, almost similar to Hyundai.

Going through the specs of the engine. I have much doubt about Hyundai's diesels life. They extracted a lot of HP and torque similar to what Germans have done.

So much for pride. The future is the time to see... Pero sana hindi nga, but don't cross the line because your engines haven't reached 10 years or more. Again, so much for pride...

This is the Philippines, don't expect big boys to hear you cry when you call for light. We are currently not on the top priority list of HARI.

I don't expect these comments coming from a Moderator. How do you know that Hyundai's CRDI engines will never cross 10 years? Maybe you are an engine designer? You work in Ferrari, Renault F1? You are making an irresponsible comment sir and You know so much about HARI, do you work with them and telling us here we are not in their top priority? Go to DTI and have your story heard there not in these peaceful forum.

May kanya-kanyang strengths and weaknesses, therefore, the choice would really depend on what would fulfill your needs.

I'm a very proud owner of a 4x4 ford everest. It may not be the best looking (subjective), or the fastest, or the most comfortable, but I bet it would go the farthest when the paved road ends. Even if you say that this happens only in 1-5% of cases, at least, you are confident that you can reach your destination wherever that may be, and not tuck your tail between your legs.

BTW, I think the poll is applicable only in cosmopolitan areas.

I think drey was just reacting to the newb's reply to me for passing up on the SF ... na-over lang yata. Hindi naman nila pera yung gagastusin after all.
