Sige lagyan natin ng price yung features to compare hehe.
ABS & EBD = ~60K
Passenger Airbag = ~15K
Alloy wheel spare tire = 20K
Half-Leather seats = 13K
Engine cover = 4K
Cluster Rheostat = 8K
Fog lamps = 10K
Luggage screen = 16K
Leather steering wheel, door panels & shift knob = 6K
Steering wheel audio remote = ~9K
If you'll add everything, malaki pa yan sa price difference ng GL A/T sa GLS A/T.
Sir if I have the same budget range as you did i would really go for the Tucson GL 2.0 r-EVGT. Its powerful, has a very modern and sleek styling, fuel efficient and im sure it would fit all your purpose... Needless to say, the Tucson r-EVGT is the "bang for your buck" among your choices.
regarding budget constraints, why not have it financed with a low interest so as to cover your 200k deficit if you are now looking at the Tucson GLS 2.0 theta?
but either way it would be your final decision, whether you opt for the gas version or the diesel version.. Please do post some pix as soon as you get your unit.
Cheers!
i suggest waiting for the new forester 2.0.
for the 2.0
-an all new N/A 2.5-liter boxer engine with a chain driven DOHC, 170HP / 174 lb-ft
for the FXT (not 100% sure about it yet)
-265hp engine
-5 speed
for both
- updated suspension
- new mags (for the N/A)
- new grill
- new power side mirrors with turn signal lights
- new HU with BT and USB
here's what the interior will look like
and price didn't change at all.
i really don't understand why every one would say if it's not the FXT i wouldn't consider it, but really for me i don't see a reason and the value of having a turbo for a daily driven car especially with the traffic we have.
^ bro sana pinost mo na rin yung price. Kasi bumaba na ata yung budget ni TS.![]()
Fasten your seatbelt! Or else...Driven To Thrill!
1.4M for the 2.0 and 1.7M for the fxt.
sorry didn't read the whole thread. for 1.1M why not get a car instead of a CUV, for that price you'll have a couple nice cars to choose from. also space of a CUV isn't that much different to a full size car.

That's the dead pedal for you to rest your left foot on.
Clutch pedals are rarely shaped like that, anyway.
I guess that there are many other CUVs to choose from at 1.4m and below. There are so much newer, practical and even more powerful CUVs,SUVs even midsize sedans to choose from. Also, the Forester 2.0 looks bare compared to the FXT. (no hoodscoop, black door handles, black side mirrors, weaker engine)
But for FXT at 1.7m, if money is not an issue the FXT is hard to beat Aesthetically and in Performance.![]()
yup true for the 300k difference if you can afford it then fxt na. but if you're not into the speed of the fxt then the 2.0 is enough, cause the fxt will be much more expensive to maintain since it's a turbo and higher fc.
ah ok, for 1.1M there still a couple of choices but asx and tucson are the best in this price range.
Tucson is a better bet right now because of a newer design specially if you don't need 3rd row seat.
or wait for the new forester and see if the changes will suite your taste.
