for tci, average person that could fit comfortably is 10 pax excluding driver.

Yung mga nakikita kong urvan na pang rent a van at colorum dito samin, nagpapalit ng aftermarket rims, install audio and video system, pa leather seats which i think is sufficient enough. hwag OA sa accessories baka magmukhang jeepney...

I remember a family acquaintance has a late model Starex A/T with the turbo intercooler engine. Pareho lang naman sa TCi ngayon except that the TCi is already electronically controlled though with negligible difference in the power output but with a large weight penalty. When climbing Marcos Highway fully laden and with luggage on the roof, hirap na hirap siya on the steeper inclines. Although we have to consider the aerodynamic disadvantage of the baggage on the roof as well as this being a high mileage, and rather abused unit.

Kaya M/T GS TCi nalang and then perhaps some minor engine mods to improve performance and fuel efficiency.

The Urvan has been around since the 90's, so no small wonder some people might call it old, obsolete, jurassic, etc. But if you take your cue on the hordes of GT Express shuttles roaming around, a huge number of them are Urvans.

Why you ask? The answer is ... simple and easy maintenance.
tagal na din nga sa market ng td27. simple and easy to maintain is the key. recently acquired an urvan escapade, mas comfortable kesa sa hiace. and coming from sa small sedan car, mas enjoy ko i-drive ang urvan. pansin ko lang mas matipid ang urvan kung nasa 100kph takbo compared kung 80kph lang.
any tips, kung pwede lang, pano ba magsimula sa rent a van business?
    thanks

kung kukuha ako ng nissan urvan na pang business (shuttle service tsaka rental) anu po yung mas ok.. yung 15 seater na ipamodify yung jump seat to make it 18seater or yung 18 seater na agad ?

what to expect po ba sa brand new na nissan urvan?

anu anu ang dapat tingnan bago bilhin?

    anu anu ang dapat checkin?

    appreciate all feedbacks..TIA

Or, you can just get the 21 seater with side facing seats all around, which is actually cheaper by 24k.

What to expect sa brand new Urvan? It will feel decades old even before you get it out of the showroom? But then if you maintain it properly, it should give you decades of good service. Since you are getting the brand new, then there should be nothing to check or look out for. That is the main advantage of getting a brand new unit after all.

    thanks GTi,

eh how about during break in? meron bang dapat imonitor? o icheck? habang nagbrebreak in..

    TIA
