Kung may photocopy ka ng cancellation of mortgage, makakakuha ka ng certifierd true copy sa Register of Deeds.Kung wala naman hindi ka makakakuha kasi hindi nila alam saan kukunin at hahanapin yun,kahit ibigay mo pa plate number at xerox copy ng OR CR hindi gagalaw yun .. They need the book number, page # etc. Get a second copy from the bank, it takes about 7 working days( sa BPI Family yan ha).Pag nakuha mo na punta ka sa RD bayaran mo.And then apply ka sa LTO, you need a notarized affidavit of loss and 2 valid ids nung may ari.

sabi ng PMS (property management and sales) Division ng BPI Paseo, wala na silang copy ng cancellation of chattel and iba pang documents. kasi shin-shred na nila pag lagpas 5 years na kasi mahal daw ang storage, wala daw silang lugar. Si Enrique Anonas yung taga BPI Main na nakausap kahapon. Try ko tawagan yung customer service ng BPI, baka meron silang ibang maitulong. thanks!

What if 3rd owner ka na and wala ng contact dun sa first owner? I bought a used car and I'm already the third owner. Yung second owner hindi nagpa-change of ownership. Isang copya lang ng Cancellation of Chattel Mortgage hawak niya. Hindi pa na-clear sa Registry of Deeds. Nung nilakad ko sa registry of deeds yung clearance, hinanapan ako ng 2 copies nung notarized Cancellation of Chattel Mortgage. Sabi ko, isa lang binigay sa akin (and yun lang daw hawak din nung second owner)

Kailangan ko daw kumuha ng certified true copy sa bangko. Kahit hindi ako ang original na may-ari, pwede ko bang i-request to? Ano kailangang documents?

Paano kung walang photocopy ng cancellation of mortgage, at nag-sara na yung bank ( ibank ) saan makakakuha ng kopya ng cancellation of mortgage at magkano magagastos?

Try to inquire at Unionbank. If I recall correctly sila ang nag acquire ng bank na yan

same. if it is still under mortgage, and the mortgage is still not released, the papers are still in the bank.
or LTO has a copy of the CR which is "encumbered to" the mortgagor.
