help needed, 500K to 600K budget second hand car

Hi Tsikot forumers,

Good afternoon. Pahelp, I plan on buying a second hand car that is around 500K to 600K. Is there anything you can recommend?

for consideration:
1. fuel efficiency
2. ride height
3. maintenance costs/parts availability
4. medyo mabilis

car? so sedan di ba?

some options, for your budget you'd probably get something from 2008 to early 2010

1. mitsubishi lancer ex 2.0
2. toyota corolla altis 1.6 or 1.8
3. honda civic 1.8

1. Fuel efficiency - diesel ang gusto mo or a car na may small engine pero malakas ang hatak
2. Ride height - SUV's and vans are in the consideration. Out na ang mga sedans
3. Maintenance costs/parts availability - marami to choose eh
4. Medyo mabilis - What's your definition of it bro?

With that in mind, I think ang pasok sa requirements mo is the 2007-2008 Ford Everest CRDi since pwede siya sa 500k budget mo. Another option is the diesel first gen Kia Sorento

thanks for the reply sir.. regarding po sa definition po ng masbilis, what I currently use ay Toyota Fortuner 2.7VVT-i and I am used sa response ng makina niya sa inputs ko that is when I want it fast talagang mabilis siya, and I would say na very satisfied ako sa performance niya (arangkadahan, 180++ KPH na takbo). the thing is, ang lakas niyang kumunsomo ng gas lalo na at sa within the city lang ako.

Kung may mahanap ka ng Fortuner 3.0V then that's mabilis at ok sa gas. Yeah mas maganda yung variant na yan and I think gusto mo ng Fortuner. Kung sedans naman I think pasok ang 2006-2009 Civic FD 1.8 S.

how I wish sir kasya yung pera ko for fortuner 3.0d4d first gen, kaso mukhang malabo.. ang kaya lang mabili ng 600k ay 2.7vvt-i na first gen fort. hehe

regarding sa blogpost ninyo sir, very informative siya (thanks for that!), binasa ko muna yan bago ako nag post dito.

yes, nasa consideration ko din po yung honda civic (2006-2011) along with toyota altis (2008++), lancer ex (manual only) and ford focus diesel (manual).

ang top priority ko po sana ay SUV/Compact SUV.. if hindi kaya, mukhang sedan nga talaga babagsakan ko..

innova. any variant. get diesel for less fuel expense. just don't race it against gas engines, including lawn mowers.. heh heh.
D4D woes? i believe it's been hyped too much.. i believe there were really very few examples, but the stories were told and re-told so much, we got the impression that they were built into the design..
my 83 centavos'..

If you're willing to get an automatic, how about adding the Nissan X-Trail 250X or the 2007-2009 Mitsubishi Outlander sa list?
