Medyo magastos kasi all wheel drive pero sanay ka na sa Fortuner 2.7 I think the fuel consumption is the same. Kung magextend ka ng budget try searching for a third gen CR-V 2.0 MT. 6 speed yan pre and not to mention matipid sa gas

nakakamatay ang consumption ng fortuner na 2.7vvt-i that's why na need ko kumuha ng more efficient na sasakyan. lahat ng tipid-mode-techniques ginagawa ko na but still, the best FC na na-achieve ko ay 5.5 to 6 km/l based sa onboard multiinformation display.
1 full tank, at most 2 weeks (paranaque-makati-pasay/boni/manila)

sagad na ako sa 600k sir. =)

I think mas ok na bumagsak ka sa sedan since fuel economy concern mo. Wala akong maisip na SUV na diesel na MT na kakasya other than 2007-2009 Everest CRDi or first gen Sorento.

I think Civic 1.8 S MT FD or Focus diesel ang ideal na cars sa case mo

    Here are some suggestions:
Hyundai Starex GRX CRDi: May manual ito kung gusto mo. Andun na lahat ng safety features at kumportableng kumportable sakyan ang sampung tao di tulad sa sikip at tagtag ng Fortuner.
Kia Sorento CRDi: 1st gen version pasok sa budget mo. Sa alam ko standard na ang 4x4 dito at ladder frame chassis kaya magaling talaga sa mga bundok-bundok. Kaunti lang ang manual neto AFAIK at mostly 5 seater lang ang meron locally. Still a very nice car though if its your thing.

Kung makakadagdag ka ng konti, the Isuzu Alterra and 2nd gen Ford Everest can be had for 600+k. The Alterra has the distinction of being the most fuel efficient in the class and the most worry free in terms of maintenance. The Everest is known for its exceptional flood resilience due to sealed electronics, as well as excellent performance and handling.

If I were in your shoes, I'd get a secondhand Ford Focus TDCi MT.

    Matipid, mabilis, gwapo.
