It will be good if you can bring the car to a shop/mechanic who has long experience in working with the Civic FD chassis. Also, you can check the car's maintenance history on any Honda casa using the car's plate numbers (for Honda Cars Makati branches, not sure about Yuchengco centers). They can show it to you but they will not print the records unless you can show them the transfer of ownership for the unit. Best advice would be to get the latest maintenance record from the owner and casa, then start making your own maintenance cycle with a trusted shop/mechanic. You can download the PMS list from the Honda Cars Makati site and make it as your basis for your own maintenance cycle.
