my thoughts are,
should the original mortgagor default on the payments, and co-maker "changes his mind and refuses to pay, either"... the bank ends up repossessing the car.
so my bottomline question is, "what, really, is the co-maker for? does he have any legal obligations here... one that he may not shirk from? in the eventuality, pati ba siya, sira ang credit rating?"
kasi, kung ganon nga, "who in his right mind, will agree to be a co-maker?"
perhaps, if no one agrees to be co-maker, banks will eventually change their policy, lest no one buy a new car installment, anymore.

Hi, it's me again. The one planning on buying an Innova E Automatic. Sure na kami talaga sa Innova kaso biglang nakita ng parents ko yung Suzuki Vitara GLX. I checked the Vitara and it looks okay for us.
Things why we are having second thoughts:
1. Because of Vitara being cheaper (161,000 pesos cheaper), gasoline vs Diesel isn't really a debate until the car reaches 100,000 kms (Only considering the gas and diesel price. Not considering the maintenance and others.)
2. 6 airbags, parking sensors, brake assist, stability control, EBD, and rear view camera. Considering that I'm a new driver, I want to have all the assists that I can get.
Why we are still leaning towards the Innova:
1. It's a Toyota Innova. Cheaper maintenance.
2. Rear view camera can be easily installed.
3. Innova parts are easier to find.
4. Cousins sometimes go to our house so we might need additional seats. We don't go out even if our cousins are with us, but if we do, it's there.
My question is: is it worth getting the Suzuki Vitara GLX since it has more safety features or just stick with the Innova since it won't be sold?
i like the reputed tibay ng gawa and ease of maintenance of the toyota, which i have had for over 13 years. i am confident, these characteristics have carried over to the new model.
my office colleague is a suzuki fan, and claims good experience with their vitara. ...was among the first to get theirs, in the country.
my MT diesel innova gives me 9-10 km in the city.
i do not know of the vitara's km/li figures.
and yes,
no amount of post-sales accessorizing, can increase the seating capacity.
also, nothing can smallify the larger vehicle's dimensions and larger turning circle, should crowded neighborhoods become challenging to drive thru.
if i may,
if, after weighing them both, and they come out pretty even,
get the more expensive.
wala pa akong nakikilalang nagsisi dahil yung mas mahal ang kinuha nila (provided, they paid in cash. heh heh.).
heh heh.

As soon as I posted this, I saw a youtube video about the Innova 2020 albeit not sure if it's real. Told my parents about it and they said that we should just wait for it to arrive here. Baka raw dagdagan na yung features ng Innova kaya gusto nilang hintayin na lang muna.
they were probably not refering to the crysta-as-a-new-version-of-the-innova, but rather, to the 2020 warm-over re-issue of the same innova model introduced way back in 2016 or 2017.
crysta.. kijang.. whatever.
hey guys, I just want to hear your ideas
I recently got approved sa BPI autoloan and either they will find me dealer or I find myself (which one is better?)
- na expire ba ung approval ng autoloan? kc Im not in a rush naman I would like to save up more pa sana para malaki ang dp ko. Ok lang ba na I got approved just yesterday and I want to get a car siguro after 2-3 months? Pwede ba un?
Tapos Im thinking of getting SUV (sorry im noob to cars / female driver) ok ba ang montero or fortuner? kasi plan to use it personal and for my family.
I just want an SUV sana yung easy to park and yung may sensor sa back na it would stop when its near the wall na. Sorry for noob questions
Get the one with a camera at the back aside from sensor. Its easier for u.
Montero vs Fortuner, there is a comparison thread for that. Both are solid choices
