Yup. If you can prove it, iaccept naman nila. Dito na papasok yung actual pictures of the accident.

Muntik kami tamaan, buti naka iwas. In hindsight, inisip namin, kung sakaling nadamge yung kotse, papano namin maprove na ganun nangyari... Di pa uso dashcam noon.

Charter din insurance ko. Took a week to have claim approved.

That is fast, compared to what happened to me. In my case, I needed to write a letter to the main office so that I may be entertained.

I filed my claim by the month of August, and I was only "noticed" properly by the month of November. If I didn't write a formal complaint on November 2, I don't know how long it would have taken.

With CGIC, it took them a month before getting the approval. I don't know if it was from casa or from the insurance company that caused the delay. No complaints with the company, except that it took them more than a month for my car to be released.

In my experience with PhilBritish, Nica is prompt in doing a follow-up. In fact, the delay was on my part. It took me a month before I was able to send all the documents needed. I was "trapped" because of my work. Once I brought the car, release is swift.

I have no intention to malign the company. I am just sharing my experience. And my experience is in great contrast to what happened to my friend, who recommended Charter Pinggan. He got his approval the next day, and everything was hassle free. With me, it took them about four months.

My friend is an alpha male! While I'm only Charlie.

confiscate the offending spare tire and present it as evidence.
include the jeepney driver as corroborating evidence.

you might also confess, you ran into a lamp post.
para wala nang ebi ebi dense pah.

    jok.

    seriously,
the proof is in front of you.
what matter how it was incurred?
eh, self accident is admissible naman, 'di bah.

Is it true that the insurance company would charge participation fee per panel be be repaired? Nahulugan kasi ng mangoes yun car while in the parking lot, broke the windshield and dented some panels, and the one in charge sa insurance sa Toyota said I need to pay 15k participation fee! I said that’s too much, that’s almost the price of an entire policy! Sabi nya per panel daw kasi ang charge. I said as far as I know, fixed ang participation fee. I am using their inhouse insurance. This is a Rav4 2018.

yes, the participation fee is per event, regardless of how many panels are involved in that single event.

    but i ask,
did the hulugan part occur in just one fell swoop?
or did it happen several times over a significantly longer period of time, within which time you failed to move your car to a safer place?
you did say you were indisposed, during the interval.
makes for arguable argument from either side...

It was on one event doc. I was at the hospital for a few days. I usually park at that area naman during my clinic days. I don’t know kung one day lang yun or not, pero within a week’s time yun. May dent sa roof, fender and rear door. Then windshield was broken. Malakas din kasi hangin nun time na yun so baka yun reason why the mangoes fell.

panel ang binibilang, because many painters paint the entire panel, even if only a portion of it is damaged.
but any and all other parts installed therein are individually accounted for, for depereciation charges.

total wreck? they have a definition for it. their policy has something to say about total wreck.

Eventually I was able to talk na to the higher ups. Per event/incident nga daw. Initial person who said per panel ang charge was wrong.
They are asking me to bring the car by early July (mahirap daw kasi order ng windshield from Japan for Rav4).

When I bought my new car last 2020, ung discounted price ginamit ko, not only because sayang din ung few kesos sa premium but also because I think na para masulit mo ung additional premium kelangan ma total mo ung car mo in 3 days. Sa totoo lang, mailalabas mo lang to the point of being able to total it is after 2 weeks, super swerte mo pa kasi 2 months on the average lumabas ang ,OR/CR.

"it is bad business practice to undercut one's own dealers."
