Di mahirap parts ng nissan sentra. One basis is may mga taxi na sentra. Really! newer vehicle is better but sentra is a sedan and getz is a hatchback. So we are not comparing apples to apples. I assume mas gusto mo sedan kasi 2 sedans ang pinag pipilian mo corolla and sentra. So sentra nako.

thanks sa advice. this forum was really a big help to decide. i tried different cars from 1.1L to 1.6L. Test Drove Getz which is decent but hirap sa overtake unless naka rekta na at mahina arangkada. Altis di magkasundo sa presyo but of course magandang idrive. Celerio okay din malakas din hatak.

I decided to get a 1.3L displacement with decent power. got the 2006 Toyota Vios J. 93,500 odometer reading worth 238K all stock. So far no issue. I brought it home sa Bataan kninang umaga from Bicutan. mganda handling nya hanggang 120 kmh pag tumuntong ng 130 kmh medyo vibrate yung dashboard but so minimal. hindi ko na hinirit kasi mahirap na just got it few hrs ago. ganun ba talaga yun?

Fuel efficient sya since ala traffic from balintawak to bataab if im not mistaken 120 kilometers more or less umabot ako almost 20 km/l..kasi paguwi ko nagpa full tank ako..no traffic at all dahil sunday morning. around 100 kph average takbo s nlex at 90 sa national road at ako lang pasahero. happy na ako kahit maka 16-18 km/l na may 4 na sakay ang vios sa highway.

so far so good pero nka 120 plus km pa lang nman. we'll see after a while. Thanks ulit guys

Congrats on your new ride! Mileage is rather high, but shouldn't matter much if it was well maintained. And it certainly does look so with the gas mileage you are getting. If it doesn't have maintenance records, I suggest you have a thorough oil and filter change. 1.3J? Ito ba yung walang power amenities? You may want to install power locks and perhaps also an alarm system. Its an important convenience and safety feature. As for the vibrating dashboard, I am not so sure as to why since engine vibration is normally lesser at high rpm. I would normally expect a noisy dashboard at low speeds on high gears. I have never heard a thing from our diesel Revo's dashboard when we went on out of town trips with speeds of up to 145km/h. A possibility may be that the dashboard has been opened before and it was not screwed back tightly.

im getting a central lock and keyless 3K yung sinabi sakin. sa san fernando pampanga kanina. magkanu kay sa banawe? Vios J sya so bare sya pero may drivers side airbag naman. yung vibrating nya siguro dahil medyo mabilis na for a 1.3L displacement yung 130 kph? but its not really too bad like ive said minimal lang talaga sya it was really nothing to concern talaga kumbaga nag aask lang..im gonna have it checked kung loose lang ang dashboard. fuel consumption ko kanina around 19 km/l kaya happy ako talaga dahil madami ako nababasa mga vios owners around 15-16 lang nakukuha nila. aircon was on the whole time. its been 3 days na so ayus pa din til now. aircon is pretty good, responsive yun gas pedal nya arangkada agad pag apak. engine is quiet. hopefully talaga naka tyempo ako.

I don't think 130km/h is too fast for a Vios. After all there are reports of 1.3L Vios's running way past that. Glad to hear that you're getting excellent gas mileage. We here at Metro Manila are already happy to get 12km/L. Hell, even 10km/L is fine. About the central lock and keyless, I haven't had to buy one so am not familiar with Banawe prices. But looking at Sulit ads, car alarm and central lock in Metro Manila - Philippines, 3000 seems to be a bit expensive unless its a really good brand. Maybe you can haggle a bit.

I dont recommend speeding up way past the speed limit, but to just answer your query about sa rattling at 130kph,
Pacheck mo if your wheels are balanced, an unbalanced wheel will cause vibration at high speed, and while your at it, check mo nadin yung tire wear, not a good idea speeding up with a heavily weared tire.

    Drive safe!
