Yup mahirap na kumontra since sya naman gagamit, and also pinaghirapan naman nya ung pambili ng car. haha
Pumayag na sa VX since bibigyan naman kami ng 15k discount, car cover and visor aside sa standard freebies. Bank PO din kasi kaya mababa daw kita nila.

Kasyang-kasya, sir. Yung 2009 Jazz ginamit ko dati karga ng 4 balikbayan boxes pero nakadapa yung rear seats.

Kung standard size luggage, no need to idapa yung rear seats.

Im eyeing on 3 cars below.

    1. Toyota vios 2008-2010 m/t
    2. Honda city 07-08 1.5 vtec m/t
    3. Honda city 08 1.3 idsi m/t

Budget wise, ano po mas ok sa tatlo in terms of f/c, maintenance and durability.

All cars that im looking are in below 100k mileage..

    Thanks Tsikoter...

in my opinion, these cars pretty much even out each other. nothing stands out that would be a deal-breaker to me.
it's gonna be buyer's discretion, siguro.

Yung City kasi malaki trunk nya. Limited yung trunk space ng Jazz kasi hatchback sya though mas malaki cargo space kapag nakababa yung rear seats.

We tried once carrying 4 golf bags (sa trunk) plus 4 people in a 2009 City. Kasya naman lahat kasama mga individual bags for clothes. Same lang naman yung dimensions ng previous-gen City sa current City.

    Hi Guys,

Im planning to buy a car. My 1st choice is Suk Jimny but also considering Hyundai AccentHB Crdi... I know po na mas matipid and Accent because its a diesel pero syempre meron other factors like yung life span ng car and yung pms costs. So just want to ask yung mga expert natin dito. With regards to life span and pms cost who wins? Jimny or Accent?

    Thanks in advance

errr... are there reasons why you have limited your choices to just these two, sir?
if i knew your requirements, i might be able to suggest other, perhaps more relevant, considerations.

without asking kung baket yan ang choices mo I am inclined to say mas tatagal sa lifespan and pms cost ang Jimny. It is built for toughness kasi being a mini suv.

Thanks for the reply sir... I prefer kasi the Jimny but if i going to choose another car other than Jimny, it would be the accent because being a diesel. We already have the MUX so it will be a second car.

If you want a toy or want a cheap off-roader, the Jimny is great. It has great looks and good offroading capabilities.

However, as a daily drive, you might wanna rethink your choices. It's cramped so the rear is only good for short trips for 2 small passengers. Its high ride height and narrow width makes it unstable to drive on the highway at triple digit speeds, not to mention that the engine doesn't even like reaching triple digit speeds. It has no ABS, airbags, or any modern safety or convenience features.

If you don't mind all those drawbacks, then go ahead with the Jimny. Otherwise, the Accent is a more sensible option, with the only real drawback being that it can't ford floods (you can use your MUX when you really need to be out on a stormy day).

    Talaga lang ha?

    Mas makakatipid sa LOW DOWN?
