October 21st, 2011 01:44 PM #42better yet get a brandnew financed car. mga tipong 1.0L or 1.2 L engine lang. but of course you have to consider pros and cons. of course you have to deal with the monthly amortization which will depend on your income. 2nd is a decent garage. pros will be the advantage of a worry free everyday driving. di ka kakabahan on the road. plus sometimes, if you get a bad deal from a bad pre owned car seller, if you sum it up parang ganun din binayaran mo for the yearly LTO reg at lahat ng pagawa every now and then sa 2nd hand na auto na kinuha mo, gumagastos ka na...... di mo pa mamaximize ang gamit sa ginagastusan mong auto since itll be like a regular repair going on and on and on like electrical problems (Wc is usual for pre owned vehi unless you have it rewired.) so its the comparison between having it cheap today but expensive and worrysome car life in the following months or invest in a worry free and enjoyable driving life from the beginning.

October 29th, 2011 02:05 AM #44Hindi po. Lahat ng EG Civic na 1.5ESi ay EFI na. Yun na rin ang top of the line noon. Ang LX variant ang carburteted and with no power amenities. Wala sigurong EK Civic na 100+k unless may katok, o kaya na-Ondoy. Best bet for low budget 100+k car purchases is still Nissan Sentra Series 3.

none... troublesome po kasi ang maintainance ng automatic after 5 years lalo na po kung tatlong gears lang ang alam nung dating may-ari (Park, Reverse and Drive.) and since both of your choices will turn 20 in a few years time, baka po marami kayong "unnecessary inheritance" na makuha.

Here are my choices:
1. Honda Civic 96 EFI (Manual)

Medyo mataas kasi ang resale value ng Civic kaya kapag limited ang budget mo, it'll be best to look elsewhere. Its a comfortable and modern car with relatively good performance and a lot of creature features. Take note though that this car is a bit on the thirsty side when it comes to fuel consumption. Consider also taking a look at the Nissan Exalta's that would fit your budget.
