nagpa install ako ng abs cbn tv plus sa manila then pagdating ko dito sa davao wala na ng signal. Any recommendation sa mga master? Kailangan ko pa ba mag change ng sim dahil hindi compatible sa location?
It might be that digital tv in PH is not mature yet and hindi pa nagrorollout ng stations outside of Metro Manila, even within MM mahina pa signal in some areas as I've read

Where do you put the antenna? I'm getting a DTV box for a room, and in the process may try DIY'ing it in the car. I am eyeing the "black box" or the RCA DV1402.
Anong power supply ginagamit niyo? I have an unused CDRKing UNIVERSAL CAR ADAPTOR 1800MA adapter, trying to bring down the cost by not having someone install it.
I initially got the RCA with the 5v power requirement, gumana saglit yung power adapter ni cdrking then died... pinalitan ko fuse patay pa rin
Inupgrade ko na lang to tv+ since 12v ang power requirement nito. walang tap for positive sa likod ng head unit ko aside from splicing which i didn't do for warranty reasons, so kumuha ako ng cigarette jack splitter then soldered the connections for the barrel jack inside.
sir particle gumamit din po ako ng rca na brand 5 volts. . gumawa lang ako ng wire usb to DC connector. then plug sa usb lighter from cdr king 1 amp.

sir dalhin mo lang sa magaling na technician may paraan sila dyan. meron silang nilalagay na sariling switch parang bypass yun. if you live close to the south(Binan) dalhin mo kay BP audio. mga 30 minutes job lang yan.

wanted to do it myself sana para matuto rin. may nakita na akong link dito sa Tsikot, yung green wire daw pero wala kasing wire pinouts yung radio sa body and sa manual nya so i cannot be sure: Video Shuts-off when vehicle starts moving. kung binaklas ko yung panels, mga magkano sisingilin nila?
Image says:
Caution: Driver is prohibited by law from viewing a video signal on any in-dash monitor while the vehicle is in motion
Working sya pag naka Park mode and/or handbrake is up (will double check later) but outside of Park, the message appears. Sound is unhampered though. Wala akong external displays as of the moment aside sa head unit.
disclaimer: i only use it if i have a passenger, otherwise, i am on radio/spotify mode.
not sure with your case bro.... it could either be on your connections though. yung sa akin kasi simple lang ang connection. power is tapped sa HU din, antenna is at the back of the car.

I hijacked the thread already that is supposed to be for head units with ISDB-T capability, pero dito lang kasi yung may digibox discussion
An update to my issue, handbrake-activated yung video lock - whether naka Drive or Park basta nakababa yung handbrake, video wont be displayed sa head unit. Am not sure kung titirahin ko ba sa handbrake switch or sa headunit, wala akong pinouts to begin with and walang manuals online regarding its schematic
I assume this is an AVT unit, with Toyota part number 86120-YZA95
look for the PINK wire from the head unit. isolate and cut. tap to ground/ negative (the PINK wire coming out the head unit). the stereo body will do. you may put an on-off switch if you like. you can now watch video/ tv without having to stop.... but always keep your eyes on the road
yes stock. as i've researched lahat ng video-capable head units has a function not to display the video when outside of park/handbrake, pero you or your installer did not installed it probably
sige i will check probably later or this weekend. iisa lang ba yung pink line dun? on youtube videos, pink or green kalimitan na gina-ground nila. the head unit is stock from a previous-gen Innova
