sorry 4 ohms lang pala and 30 watts max lang (pioneer stocks) yung sa may pinto. when i crank up the volume basag na yung tunog. hindi ko naba puwede taasan ng kaunti yung wattage para hindi mag-garalgal? seriously, i have little hearing left so i have to hike up the volume. yung isusuggest mo sana wala ng modifications para plug n play na lang. btw i listen to metal and jazz. thanks for your time in answering jhnkvn!

Err, what do you mean little hearing? Through age? Since maybe a simple ear vacuum would do the trick. My ears have this tendency to overproduce ear wax hence the need to let a professional clean it annually. I daresay it's the best 500pesos I spend yearly :D +3dB difference cguro from a clogged ear to a good ear.
I think the best route is to simply buy a 4-channel amplifier and buy an aftermarket speaker set. No need for a subwoofer. Kahit ano gawin mo, volume is reliant on power and from my point of view, you need the additional power an amplifier provides. If you're using your stock Revo head unit, I would also recommend you change that too.
They also sell accessories and their mechanic is Jon (tsikotshop) I believe. I've never been there personally though

^^ yes, i also have my canals' debris collected by my loving EENT, thank you.
years of loud music took a toll on my hearing. for that, i even speak in a loud manner. funny coz i try to hear what i'm saying.
BTT: i just needed to replace my old stock speakers. since i am still ok with what my HU can give, i don't need amps for now. tanung ko lang:
1. if my stock HU is 50 watts, can it drive a 100 watt speaker? nakakita kasi ako ng separates,100 watts.
2. and yung sa rear ng crosswind ko coaxials. necessary pa ba na coaxials din ang ipalit ko sa kanila? since ang seps may tweeters na? please advice, TIA!
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
