^^ sir gusto niya lang daw kasi tumunog, not necessarily a good set up.

pero if you want some quality on them, then ok yung sabi ni userfriendly.

sa seps, i would recommend polk.. the best for seps IMO pero kung mid class naman ok na din yung lansar. its not expensive pero good for SQ.

if SQL ang habol then go 15"... try phoenix gold 15" then ported. kung may budget, get the L5 kicker.

amp... hmm if budgeted, v12 fenton or jbl will fit in nicely. extra cash? go for RF

sir archie, ok lang ba kung straight JBL ako? like this one.

seps: JBL GTO607c or JBL C608GTI MKII
sub: SQL?(sir mayron ba talaga ganito? diba SQ at SPL lang)
(habol ko talaga clarity ng sound na may boom-boom)
    - sir most probably 12" lang na ported yun lang po yoko malakas msyado
    amp: JBL PX 300.4

ginawa ko lang po yan as a prospect setup ko.

how about TARGA seps and then JBL subs and v12 amp(taiwan)?

any recommendation mga sir!tulong po by nextweek papagawa ko na po!

    SQ -- sound quality
    SPL -- boom boom
SQl -- mix of both (pinakamahal na setup)

sure you can go full jbl pero IMO mas ok to get other brands with the same prices... jbl are ok in all aspects but better in amp (bang for buck)
lansar are good in mid range and tweeters
    PG are good in subs.

its to your own taste ang sounds... so in my case, i like sounds of the SQ with a pinch of more boom boom.

targa are the best for bang for buck seps
subs of jbl... hmm... not really to my taste. i like the PG boom better.
jbl delivers good boom but not much umph than the PG.

v12 amps are very good as i learned when i was schooled by my cousin.
just look at the knobs (dapat yung itim, not the grey ones)

    SQL...wow mahal pala yun.

L5 and L7 are very good for the SPL setup, matigas ang bayo nun.

pero its too expensive for me yung kicker L7.

sa budget mo, talo ka na kung kasama HU dun... baka hindi kayanin yung L5 kicker. i think aabot ng 7k yung HU model na yan. wiring, labor, power supply, box... go for v12 amp, targa seps, and jbl or PG subs. baka umabot sa budget. hayaan mo na yung rear speakers mo na stock.

bridge 2 ch sa seps and 2 ch sa subs... minimum of 500watts rms. let the HU power the rear.

hope this helps and good luck!

Installation is key. A poorly installed high end setup can sound bad. A cheap all Targa setup done correctly can sound amazing.

If all you want is sound for the road, then a decent HU and coaxial speakers is perfectly fine.

    +1
    i agree on this insight...
