pls. advice on how to set up audio system for a car. i want to have a descent sound. i'm looking at pioneer stereo system with pioneer or dai-ichi speakers (depends on the budget).
looking at pioneer's site... there are 3 way, 4 way speakers. currently, i'm thinking of having 4 speakers then later on amplifier and subs (if necessary).
do i need to put 2 x 3 way at front then 2 x 4 way at the back? or 4 way or 3 way for all the speakers?
btw, are dai-ichi speakers good?

Tama. Installation and sound setup plays a very critical role in a car audio environment. In fact, some pro installers can make a 8k speaker sound twice as more while some newbie installers can make a 16k speakers sound like a Targa. Iba talaga kung proficient ka on car acoustics.
A bit off topic: Pero.. sa totoo lang, yun gusto ko malaman is whether EQ tuning is really worth it over the long run. Mahal kasi magpafine-tune ng sounds sa pro eh... so I'm thinking of DIY. Gaano ba kalaki difference ng tenga ng pro-tuner sa wannabe pro-tuner?

A sir, these is the truth, the tuner is the listener, wala na pong iba, its a critical analysis na kahit e fine tune ng computer ang isang audio system, if the listener does not satisfied to it, wala pa rin, kc, that computer only do the alignment and not to tune it in the music you want, even the highly paid sound pro tuner only do the best tuning by his test disc, but if you play your song, meron pa rin tayong gustung baguhin kase tayo yung nakikinig, he he, punch me sir if i'm wrong..

For those looking to spend a little more money to get better quality sound in their cars, it is important to understand what all can be done to fine tune the sound in the car. It’s not just about buying the right receiver or the amplifier. It’s also about ensuring that the car environment stays as quiet as possible by using damping or an appropriate liner to keep road and outside noise at bay. Then there are your cables, interconnects and speaker wires. Using big names for these, such as Monster Cable or Cables with high strand would help since they design cables with high performance. So even though you may pay a premium when you buy, you gain in performance and longevity. Right tools, Right equipment, pro installation, and have a great audio system.

It's looking a lot like a certain cruiser with that color scheme.
