audio set-up for beginners [continued]

normal lang po ba mga sir after 5 songs mainit na yung amplifier, 4channel 1 and 2 front speaker tapos 3 and 4 naka bridge sa sub ..... salamat

normal lang na nag-iinit ang mga amplifier, pero depende rin sir. gaano ba sya(amp)kainit at saan ang volume level while playing. cranking up the sound volume makes the amp way hotter than the usual which is most likely normal. and warm to touch lang dapat halos kung under low/normal listening/playing lang naman. there's something wrong kung umiinit yan nang halos mapapaso ka na while playing at low to mid sound volume.

never pa ako nag-full setting sa gain/s. mukhang meron ngang hindi tama dyan sa setup mo.

350 watts rms nung sub tapos bridged nung amp 300watts rms lang, meron pa front speaker na nakakabit sa channel 1,2

curious lang ako how it sounds like with your amp gain at full. wala kang naririnig na distortion? you are about to kill your amp/speakers soon sir.

wala naman distortion parang wala pa nga bayo pero binawasan ko na yung gain sobra bilis kasi uminit kapag naka full try ko na lang kalikutin ulit baka maayos sana tama hinala ko na sa wire lang problema mukha kasi substandard nabile ko mabilis maputol mga fiber .... salamat sir sa mga sagot

stop fiddling with your gain controls muna sir. pero ok na din at binawasan mo.
walang bayo? may built-in crossover/hi-pass/low-pass filter ang amp mo diba? naka-set ba to low pass filter ang channel 3&4 mo?

If youre near pasig/marikina bro, dalhin mo kay simplesound. Sakin lightning lab na amp lang napakanta nya eh (took a while dahil kakaiba distortion/noise nung amp ko)

Installed my 2nd android headunit in my other LC200. I replaced the pioneer 8750bt. Am super duper happy. Everything i wanted in a headunit is there. Waze, spotify, overlaid Lyrics via Musixmatch.

This Joying unit rocks. The sound is just as sweet and punchy as from the pioneer unit.

Yep. But im only using stock speakers.

For me the SQ and punch is good. Bass is good. I dont have any subwoofer or amps. The headunit is providing the amplification.

I could go crazy and blow some money on amps and speakers. But the sound is good enough for now. Lets see if the sound bug bites me in the future. Till then i am very satisfied.

Are underseat subs good enough? My sealed sub is so large that it takes up a seat at the third row. I'm looking at the NBN-V12 generics at around 3-4k or so

To answer some concerns:

1. The Pioneer 8XXXBT only shines when you use its audiophile features such as crossovers, EQs, and most importantly time alignment. Other than that and it's numerous pre-outs, it functions much like a regular head unit.

2. While many installers claim that a certain head unit brand sounds better than the rival headunit brand; I'm on the camp that ignores them because those are minute differences. Sure, they sound different because their internal circuitry is different. But claiming that it's light and day is something I don't understand. As long as its output is rather flat, its flavor is flat.

3. Underseat subwoofers are good enough to regular people. But if you're the type of person to rock out Lil' Jon, I don't think it's enough.

Can anyone recommend a decent set of 6.5" speakers under 10k for the FD Civic?

Bumigay both yung stock front speakers ko and I might as well upgrade. If walang point in upgrading with everything else stock, should I just get the cheapest Pioneers or JBLs I can find nalang?

Will be using the stock HU.

I am considering this (which I have read reviews of that say this is one of the best budget speakers) vs the Infinity Kappa 62.11i that is offered to me by Roadstar at around 6500.

Called up said store kasi bukas sila on Sundays. Unfortunately I cannot visit stores between Monday to Saturdays due to work.
