1. Personally, I believe in expensive amplifiers.
2. Still, a 20 grand amp is a bit too much. Go for a 15 grand amplifier that has great power ratings instead and save the money instead.
3. I am not picky when it comes to speakers really.
4. For the subwoofers, I highly recommend JBL ones. They make excellent subwoofers for the price.
5. As to what size, if you can fit a 12", then go for a 12". If you need the space, get a smaller one. Truth is, even 8-inchers is enough for most people.
