    Alternator? Kayang kaya.

As for the headrest monitors, I'd do it with a grain of salt. May mga kids ka ba that would be watching at the back? In 90% of people I know that has them, nagsisi sila. Buying a portable DVD might be a better alternative really.
ano yung "keyword" dyan sir na pwede siya i run thru my HU alone, the RMS or peak power? btw yung max power ng HU ko is 50W x 4. i'm also interested din kasi in this MB quart 50W RMS, 100W peak and boston acoustics 15-60W RMS, 100W peak.pwede din po ba tong 2 na to? pasensya na po daming tanong..gusto ko lang po talaga ma understand as much as i can.hehe..tnx sir.. yung sa headrest mostly mga adults na po manonood medyo mahal di po kasi ung portable dvd..hehe

Your typical HU that sends out 50Wx4 due to its internal MOSFET circuitry is really merely pushing out around 17W RMS power really. Kahit ano gawin mo, any speaker will benefit from an amplifier. However, I usually recommend purchasing one kung mga 5,000php na yun gastos mo as amplifiers+wirings also cost plenty.

You ignore the peak power and look at the RMS.

Ok. Question. Should my sister trust the so called "installers" from Blade car accessories?

Inofferan daw kasi siya sa Blade ng Pioneer HU (single din, CD, AUX-in, USB port, etc) + front Pioneer front speakers + Pioneer 2-way oval rear speakers. For only P6,000.

Now, the car needs a dash kit (stereo panel) Vios kasi eh. I asked master Benjie of Maspro kung magkano sa kanya yung dash kit, P2,500 daw.

    HU Pioneer 2450UB - P4000
    Speakers - P1,800/set
    Dash kit - 2,500

Total of P10,100.

    Tingin niyo?

BTW, the car is just 2 weeks old.

My friend had his car done sa blade dati. They dropped a screw inside the dash, hindi mahanap. Ended up as a rattle for the life of the car. Otherwise, ok naman ata yung install.

Wherever you have it done, I guess you just need to make sure they use OEM harness din para walang splice. I don't think they can botch it up naman (?) kapag mabusisi ka magbantay haha.

As to the quality of the speakers, di ko alam eh.

Maybe try the other more reputable audio shops? Dunno. Di ako magaling sa banawe parts/shops.

For me, don't buy from Blade... and purchase everything from Maspro. No offense, but Blade has a prior bad reputation for selling fake speakers notably Hertz speakers.

No need naman to go straight Pioneer. Why not go for Targa ;)

Do I need to change the headunit of the '09 Fortuner if I install an amplifier and seps?
How far would 10-15k go including deadening the doors? I don't need a sub.

JVC KD-BT22.
Nakita ko kasi sa net na may output siya for sub, so i pressume pwede.
Pero, nakalagay dun max power is 50w, RMS power is only 19W.
Kaya niya ba idrive yun? Konting bass lang need ko. Ayaw ko ng boom boom.

as all audio gurus here would say like si jhnkvn, importante ang headunit sa isang audio set-up for its tuning capabilities... OEM HU ng Fort eh bass, treble lang ata ang adjustment... so i suggest upgrade first your headunit then seps then amplifier.

Where can I have the Fortuner's OEM headunit repaired? I have 6 CDs inside. Only 1 CD works, and I can't get all of them out. As much as possible, I don't want to change the HU to maintain the OEM look. Pwede ba kabitan ng seps and amp yung OEM HU?

Also, pag palitan ko rin ba yung speakers walang kailangan butasan? Clean look parin?

    Not like this. http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...FrLRK85CAosTwg

No you don't really need to.

How far would 10-15k? Well, most of your expenses would go in changing the head unit and the dashkit. Skip that and you'll have more breathing room. How far? Depends on your installer.

Most underseat subwoofers are actively powered. In other words, they have their own built-in amplifier (BASH amplifier in most cases). If it's actively powered, yes. If it's not, no. Are you sure sa specifications ng underseat subwoofer? 19W for a subwoofer seems pretty crappy. Give that type of power to my subwoofer and it'll barely move the voice coil.

Pioneer isn't bad per se naman.. they have a good track record in Hi-Fi. Their subwoofers are excellent by the way.

Nowadays, that depends. The trend is now shifting from discreet ICE systems to fully integrated ICE. This means that alot of people are looking for that OEM look.. besides, OEM head units nowadays are better compared dati. If you have a pretty nice budget of around 40k, I would recommend getting a head unit that has tuning capabilities as it will literally turn your car audio world upside-down. However, such head units normally cost 10k upwards. If you're likely to have a limited budget and you're ideal head unit is that around the 4,000php region, it's best to simply retain your OEM head unit really as the differences isn't that much justifiable for 6,500php (including dash kits).

Yung output ng HU is Maximum 50W per channel, 19W RMS.
Active sub po bibilhin ko sir, 300W Max output, no RMS given.

No. 19W won't even make the voice coil move or if it did, it'll be so subtle that it's pointless.

Remember that a subwoofer is the most power-hungry among all speaker components hence many car audio amplifiers have so called "mono" amplifiers dedicated for them. The reason for this is their low-sensitivity rating and common sense - it takes a lot more power to move a huge voice coil and magnet over a small 6.5" speaker. I would understand powering tweeters using 17W, but subwoofers? bah.

EDIT: Akala ko passive sub. If it's an active sub, by all means use it.

When we say "active" subwoofer, it means it isn't getting the power of the head unit. It has its own built-in amplifier that puts out around 100W or more in most cases. So the 20W RMS power of a head unit is really irrelevant.

Which shop would you recommend more for beginners, Araneta Car Accessories or Candyshop?

Is it okay if I bring my own deadening sheets? How much would the labor be?

    Is this a good brand?

Both of them are well-reputed and I can't really recommend them any better than the other.

Most shops will allow you to bring your own deadening naman. Labor... no idea though.

As for Acoustipad, I haven't heard of it. But this shouldn't discourage you as there's a lot of deadening brands. The most famous would possibly be Dynamat distributed by Equal Trade. Similarly recognizable brands include Second Skin, STP, Audiomax, Sonus, etc.
