    2-way, 3-way, 4-way: lahat coax.

pero pagsinabi na 2-way seps or 3-way seps yun yung mga specialized speakers. may tweeter (high), 5"-6" inch speakers (mid). meron yung more SQ, 3-way seps, eto naman, hiwalay niya frequencies to 3 different sets.

    follow up question lang...
    yung rating(watts) ng speaker..

    halimbawa kailangan ko ay 100W..
    - kung 3-way ang bibilhin dapat ba ang rating is 100W mismo? nominal? tama ba? or magkakaiba pa rin ang rating nila?
    - kung halimbawa naman eh magkakahiwalay ko bibilhn ang tweeter, mid at bass? lahat ba sila tig-100w?

what do you mean kailangan mo 100 watts? usually if 100 watts RMS bridged sa amp, you can power a set of speakers (seps or coax) at 100 watts or more. wag lang bababa sa 100 watts rms kasi baka sunugin mo yung mga speakers.

kung ano RMS rating ng coax, that is for the pair na, not just one speaker and same goes for the seps.

yung last question is for the set up already... ganto yan naman yan usually sa 4 channel amp 2 sets of speakers kaya niyan. either 2 seps, 2 subs, or 1 sub and 1 seps.

now if your amp is rated 100 watts * 4 channel malamang 50 watts bridged yan. so 50 watts sa isang seps and 50 watts for the sub. i does not mean your limited to buy 50 watts speakers. pwede ka bumili kahit 1000 watts speakers kaso hindi busog yung speakers. it still had the potential of giving more pero you have to get a high power amp.

ang magkasma lang sa rating is seps (high and mid). in short, hindi sila hiwalay

    tapos iba naman subs (low)

basta power ng setup is though its ampli: the higher the ampli rating the higher components you need. for example 1600 rms watts yung ampli, 800 rms at bridged, kailangan mo ng malakas speakers that can handle that power or more. kung hindi, baka masunog speakers.

parang SQ muna papa setup mo sir, ayos yun. hindi naman gayang gaya sir, kumbaga, kuha lang din ako idea sa papasetup mo then tingin-tingin na din ako ng mga item ni jeff at makapag canvass sir.

i dont know the exact price pero its cheaper by 1k - 1.5k (not sure). its considered a generic brand.

yun pala dapat eh 50W seps+50W sub or 100W 3-Way..

    salamat....

yung mga speakers have the risk to be overdrivien. subs at 225 rms and 65rms seps. kaya output ng amp would be 400 rms bridged.

i would say na change the amp to rockford fosgate p500-4. sakto lang lang sa subs (busog) then change the seps to DLS R6A. 160 rms nito. clear and crisp sound.
thanks sir archie! will consider the RF amp and the DLS seps. sir, could you give me an idea how much each costs, also where i can buy them? major! major! thanks! thanks!

im not familiar with prices pero alam ko around 20k - 30k RF amp brandnew the DLS mga 10k - 15k ata. im not really sure. hindi kasi ako nagsesetup ng sounds. hehe

if you can get a set of seps na meron 225 rms, mas ok kasi busog ang buong setup. im not sure what brands have this. i think morel has a seps set that can handle 225 rms. ask around lang po.

you can buy it from any sound setup shop. those brands are not usually available sa mga low end shops. candy shop sa banawe has them, mickeys up north, kid audio, im not sure if jeff tan at araneta car accessories have them.

Actually may libro na car audio for dummies. Pwede mo basahin ang theories don. Sa hands-on, tingin ka muna sa pag gawa ng iba.

    Suggestion lang naman bro.

yes, tama sina archie & robot..
no need to enroll pa sa mga crash courses na related sa car audio field, basta interesado ka lang talaga, makukuha at makukuha mo rin sya.

stick/talk to pips with car audio experiences, dont get tired asking.

bakit ako, as in ZERO talaga ang knowledge about car audio nung nag-umpisa ako.

at in the end sasabihin mo; positive/negative, in/out lang yan with the wirings.
and yes, iba ang satisfaction pag ikaw ang gumawa neto, plus alam mo na ang pasikot-sikot nya para sa trouble shooting kung sakali.
