guys, to my surprise, meron po ako nakitang mga fenton amps dito sa bulacan... kaso ang itsura di tulad ng mga nakikita kong fenton sa forums... ang design is parang linya linya tapos pag tinignan sa gilid, yung linya linya spells "fenton". ok po ba ito?

the amp models i saw were FA4300, FA4200 and FA2240

palagay niyo po, kasi i am planning to replace my v12 nv805 with a better amp. pwede ba yung mga yun? what fenton should i get?

i have 4 coaxes na 150 watts max (2 front and 2 rear) and a directed audio xtreme subwoofer na around 200wrms, 400w peak. lahat powered by my v12 nv805.

Need help on how to install my sound setup to get optimal results..

Recently purchased the following:

Front Stage: Polk MOMO MMC6500 6-1/2 inch Seps - Max 125W RMS
Rear Stage: Polk MOMO MMC650 6-1/2 inch Coaxials - Max 80W RMS

Amplifier: Hifonics Zeus ZXi8006 5 channel Amplifier

Specs: 740-Watts A/B-Class

4 x 110-Watts + 300-Watts x 1-ch RMS * 2-Ohms
4 x 55-Watts + 200-Watts x 1-ch RMS * 4-Ohms
2 x 220-Watts + 200-Watts x 1-ch RMS * 4-Ohms (Bridged: 3 channels)

Hindi ko maintindihan kung ano yung ohm.. Do i simply choose kung anong combination ang gusto ko sa Amplifier between the 3 options? If so, what is the best option using what I have? Do i go for 2 ohm or 4 ohm connection? and AFAIK, both my speaker sets are 4ohms so dapat ba 4 ohms? Or can i run it in 2 ohms para louder? Or do i need another amp?

Do i need to take into account the RMS of my Speakers? ok lang ba ma underpower / overpower? The space in my car is restricted that is why i went for a single 5 channel amp. kulang pa ba ito? Pardon the multiple questions

Also I dont have a sub yet but planning to buy one also. Any recommendations on what brand? Shallow / Slim mount lang ang pwede coz Im installing it in a Pickup. What is the best Shallow mount sub in the market right now? and again, should i go for a 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub?

Bottomline is I want to get optimal results from my setup. SQ lang naman habol ko.. I hope someone here can help.

Given the specs of your 4 ohm speakers underpowered ang amp mo for front speakers na 125w pero halos pwede na sa likod na mga 80w. Pero try mo pa rin, for all we know it might just work.

You cannot run it at 2 ohms kasi given na ang speakers mo na 4 ohms. Kung 2 ohms ang speaker mo, mas ok sana kasi you will be getting 110w in effect per speaker.

Sorry but don't know about shallow-mount subs.

IMO: ang model no. ng fentons starts with the no. of channels then the watts
ex. fa4300 so 4channels 300watts divided by 4 75wx4
tingin ko kakapusin yung mga models na nakita mo try mo sa megamall or sa raon (Dai-ichi)
think yung f41000 bagay sa set mo para walang bitin

parang yung una sir. yun kasi pong nakita ko na FA-4300 and FA-4200, parang medyo lumang stock na dun sa electronics shop na napuntahan ko dito sa bulacan.

yung f41000 means 4 channels 1000watts so 250watts max per channel?
ok lang po sa 150watts max na coax yun?
how much po ba brand new ng F41000 sir?
and where in raon yung dai-ichi?

IMO, save for a better branded amp like crunch. 6K ata yung PZi 100.4. or ipon na lang para sa 75.4. sell mo 805 pandagdag sa budget.

Eto ung nakakabit:
Infinity kappa kcs-120br 450Wmax 250Wrms 12" sub in sealed box
Ultra Sound Acoustic P100i 100W, 2 chan
Maganda tunog nung sub, buong-buo. Kaso gusto ko mas malakas pa

Eto ang hindi ko alam kung gagamitin ko pa (sobrang luma) hehe:
quart mobile 100.03kx (4" coax)
quart mobile 1113kx (6" coax)

Hanggang maari kc ayokong idispose ung sub saka ung amp eh (hindi ko rin alam kung paano ko didispose dahil wala nang bibili ). Gusto ko sana from that setup, dadagdagan ko na lang.

15k po ang budget ko. Gusto ko dinig ung bass kahit 1 kanto pa ang layo. Kakayanin na kaya ito ng budget ko?

re: the slim type subs.There are subs that are quite slim. I believe Pioneer has a line. but from what I heard kulang sa low end frequencies kung ang habol mo deep bass. Midrange bass siya effective. Kung ayaw mong tanggalin or ipatong sa likod ng upuan, you could check out the Kicker S8L7. Mejo di na ako updated sa mga models pero kasya yun sa likuran ng pick-up naten. Or you could opt for placing the larger subs at the rear tray. But then you would need to have some way of placing the wires through the rear cab to the rear tray. And from some of the setups I've seen, it creates a lot of rattling noise.

If you want a sub, you need an amp. Kung super tipid, mura naman ang Fenton and V12 amps and Targa subs. Alam ko may powered sub din ang Dai-ichi. Amp and sub combo di ko lang maalala ang specs at wala akong idea sa performance. May show room sila sa raon at megamall.

are you reffering to the rca out? Thats where you connect the amp.
