question lang mga gurus.... is it really true that i have to change my alternator if ever i want to install a sub? 98 corolla xe

pinipigilan kasi ako ng mga tao sa bhay mag pakabit eh.. baka daw masira alternator ko...

Di totoo yan. You might need to change your alt if you run multiple high current amps and multiple subs. As in pang SPL competition setup.

Yung tipong boom box na ang kotse mo.

Pero kung isang sub lang and di naman sobrang taas ng rms wattage ng amp mo, ok na ang alt mo.

basis kasi nila un nagyari sa toyota ipsum nun bro ko... nag palagay lang ng fog lamp/light nasira yun alternator niya...

before pa nun.. yun high beam nya is sobrang hina... prang dim lang hehehe!

ask ko lng it my 1st time na magkakotse d2 sa pinas....gusto ko pong paset up ng sound buget my be 3-4k ung may amp na rin para medyo malakas na.....ok na ko sa ganun budget ng sound...patulong po...san po murang magpaset up at di kami lulukuhin mga newbies!!!!!

mga Chief Help naman po anu magging result ng set up ko:

before that, ask ko lng po kung Ok ang BlauPunkt na Door Separates 6" at Mid Seps 6x9 ng Blaupunkt... kc kung hindi, ibbnta ko na lng po toh, wala pa kc syang amplifier so di ko pa alam ang tunay na tunog nito, pero balak ko mga 500w na amp 4 way... may nakapag Audition na ba nito sa Final Set up? kc nung tinest ko ung seps pa lng, nahihirapan xa maglabas ng Vocals (sumasabay kc ung bayo sa Vocals, so ang Effect pg sumabay ung vocals sa Bass, prang sabog na ung tunog...)

then, ang sub ko would be 1 pc 12" compVR, amplifier ko dyan cguro Mono Amp 1k watts lng ng RF (kung meron)..

Tama po ba mga pinag-gagawa ko? di naman po ako noob, pero may konting Knowledge, kaso help na rin po sa Project ko.. Pateros Area po ako, bka may pwedeng mag Audition nito para malaman (in-actual) ung progress...

Hello There!

I have a 2002 Honda Civic and I would like to setup its sound system. I like the music to be a little bit louder but with good and distinct bass. I have a Kenwood HU. I may use my stock speakers first then add up an AMP that can drive 12" Subwoofer (does this sound right?!) Any recommendations on my setup? Anything else should I add here? Is this the wrong way to go? Please advise. I'm a beginner when it comes to this stuff but I really want my car to sound cool. Thanks a lot! Hope to hear from the sound masters and experts in this forum.

i changed my stock HU and front speakers recently to pioneer 2950mp and targa seps respectively. Then retained the rear speakers. medyo bitin parin sa akin ung sound. kailangan ba talaga mag install pa ng amp?

ano pala settings ng mga HU nyo? nag search ako sa mga forums and palagi naka off ung Loudness feature ng HU nila. Bkit? medyo bitin ako pag Off eh. Pag On naman eh ok na kc medyo may bass....

KAL-EL: better to change your stock speakers first to be powered by the HU or kung may budget pa kuha ka ng 4 way amp to power it ch 1n2 for the seps then ch 3n4 abang sa subs
Coz we the drivers are always at the front so mas prefer natin sa side natin di ba
yung sub sa huli nalang

try mo crystal kevs na 6.5 inch and a JBL 75.4II magandang combinations sa budget meal set ups!

Yup you need an amp to boost the powers of your drivers. Some HU claims that they where 50wx4 but in the real RMS ratings measured *10 to 15w only!

loudness kanya kanyang preference lang po yan my "ears is not like your ears" although you can tune it after installing an amp IMHO lang po

Good day Sir! try to boost your budget! Sa 3-4K amp lang or seps lang mabibili mo ipon mode lang muna para di magsisi or else huli youll end up spending more IMHO

Try upgrading your grounding muna! use a guage 8 or 4 wires this really helps

mga sir tanong ko lng kung ok b ung mga binebentang mga compact subs w/ amps na..mura lng kasi halos 2700 lng ung 6'' tapos w/ max ouput na 300w daw tpos ung 10'' e 500 w max daw.. tpos direct install pa..

Need help regarding my set-up. wala akong masyadong alam sa pagseset-up ng sound, gusto ko lang pagaralan at mag-upgrade.

my set-up is this.
*pioneer P5850MPH HU
*1x12" CVR kicker 4ohms dual voice coil RMS 400w-peak 800w
*1x lanzar244(2channel) - 1x1000w *4ohms bridge / 2x250wRMS *4ohms /2x420wRMS *2ohms
*1xV12 1200w for kicker interior mids/tweets/coax

Tanong ko lang kung magdadagdag ba ako ng sub e kakayanin nung amp? balak ko kasing magkabit ng 1 pang CVR12 tapos parallel connection for each sub to make it 2ohms each which can be drive by amp base from the specs, ang connection e each channel per sub (amp is 420wRMS*2ohms then sub is 400wRMS*2ohms). Kaya po ba o mali ang iniisip ko?

The other thing is, lets say parallel yung connection nung dual voice coil to make it 2ohms each, then kung i-series ko ba itong 2subs (to make it 4ohms tapos naka-bridge amp ako with 500wRMS) ko e double din ba ang kailangan ko na wattage from my amp,what i mean is kung yung 1sub e 400RMS each (2x400wRMS=800wRMS), 800wRMS ba na amp ang kailangan ko or 400wRMS lang ay puede na? Maraming salamat sa po inyo...
