    It wouldnt be so easy to break the law if they only made it simpler to know and implement. It doesnt help either that duties and taxes are so high that bribing a customs officer is cheaper.

    Does anyone on this board know the mechanics on importing a complete car will cost?

    Dapat flatrate yung lahat ng auto. 10% flatrate whether the car costs 10,000 or 10,000,000.

    old article stated that people undervalue the cars in order to pay less taxes, which is based on the principle value.

    Can I have the Pajero pwease? Serious buyer po... Total sayang naman kung hindi papatulan diba? Baka maarawan lang sya... Hindi kasalanan ng Pajero na isa syang smuggled item. Pero baka mabulok lang, bilhin ko na ng 32,000....

    P.s. Pwede po ba trade-in? Ano po pwede? Lappy? Cellphone o Digital SLR?

    pupwede ba magapply sa customs? panu ba magapply dun joke pero seriously, i think if the cars can be auctioned off then be it benta na lang natin para makatulong naman sa government natin

    Makaka pag pasok pala ako ng Ferrari, Mclaren and other exotics sa mura ng tax. I don't blame them cheating the tax ang mahal kasi at kanino lang mapunta kay tongressman, Senatong, etc...
    Senator Recto, gumawa ka muna ng paraan mabawasan ang corruption sa ganun siguro magbabayad ng tama tax ang tao ng pinas.

    2003 pa yata yung start ng thread... this was BEFORE they uncovered this anomally... after that the taxes and declaration of prices was changed.
