just bought a 4 liter full synthetic engine oil here in Iloilo at a local auto supply store with label Toyota Genuine Motor Oil SM/CF 5W-40 made in Malaysia in gold color plastic container, same as what i saw in toyota casa's, P1,200.00 only and Ginza replacement oil filter P170.00

anybody out there used this oil?

Yan ba yan sir? Semi-synth lang an but ok naman yan sir. Mura na rin sa price na P300/ltr.

yup that's the same container, if ganito ka mura yung toyota full synthetic, ito na lang gamitin ko kahit every 5000 km change oil, before kasi every 7000 km ako change oil using full synthetic.

most probably na drain lang yan.. ano ba yung battery mo sir.. yung GS pa?? check mo baka kulang na sa tubig.. nung tinulak.. umandar na ulit?? pag nag charge na yan.. mag start na ulit yan.. pag malimit na ayaw mag start.. baka kailangan nang palitan battery.. pa test mo yung battery.. libre naman yan don sa mga nagtitinda nang battery..

Pinalitan ko nalang sir ng Motolite Excel hindi kasi available ang gold. Musta sir ang performance ng excel as compare sa gold?

yup that's the same container, if ganito ka mura yung toyota full synthetic, ito na lang gamitin ko kahit every 5000 km change oil, before kasi every 7000 km ako change oil using full synthetic.

Sayang sa 5,000kms COI yan sir. Sana makahanap ka kahit man lang bosch oil filter para puwede kahit 7500kms COI.

Parehas tayo ng size sir NS60. Eto daw yung pinaka high end sa motolite accdg to the saleman at 24Mos warranty pa unlike sa gold 21 Mos. lng. Lets see if grantisado nga. Yung luma ko kasi GS NS40 only 2.5yrs lang ang buhay nya.

Castrol Magnatec semi-synthetic 10w-40 engine oil is around Php 300 per liter.

Vic C110 oil filter is around Php 180 per piece.

Denso XU22EP-U spark plug is around Php 110 per piece.

Labor fee from my trusted mechanic is Php 350.

So my typical periodic maintenance costs Php 1870.00 only. But now I also change the air filter which is around Php 250 per piece.

Note:

3 liters of motor oil needed for the Avanza 1.3J.

If you don't feel anything on the engine's responsiveness like rough idling, hard starting and the like, don't request for an engine analysis anymore.

You can also change the air filter every oil change if you wish. I got a replacement air filter at around Php 250 per piece so I change it every oil change interval too.

You may also want to try the STP fuel injector treatment. Just add a bottle onto the gas tank after a full tank. Around Php 138 a bottle.

Help po mga sir, im about to reach 25k Odo for my vanzy, which means near nadin ang aircon maintenance, saan po kaya maganda magpa linis ng aircon and how much kaya ang magiging damage? thanks

naghihintay pa nga ako mag promo toyota.. ok din sa casa.. kaya lang hassle don.. 2 to 3 days.. sa labas kaya nila maghapon kahit baklas dashboard..

Fully Synthetic kasi yang ginamit dyan.. tapos may Engine Flush, Fuel Treatment at Engine Wash pa.. hindi mo kailangan yun 10T pa lang naman odo mo..

kung regular oil lang.. at wala yang mga extra na yan.. baka 3T lang yan..

yung 10k PMS ko last February 2011, it cost me php 2,622.49 at Toyota North, basta ipa remove mo lahat ng add-ons, such as oil treatment, fuel treatment, car care kit, etc., which are not really required in the scheduled Maintenance service. hereunder is the breakdown, hope this will help.

3 liters oil - 493.83 (regular, not sythetic)
oil filter - 399.86
4 spark plug - 550.24
rag - 12.23
sand paper - 18.33
labor - 1148.00

walang pinalitan sir, solely cleaning lang, 22,000 kms palang naman si vanzy, pero more than two years na, low mileage lang talaga.

Sir ok ba sila gumawa? Bigla kasi nawala lamig nung Service namin sa office na Avanza 2007 model. Pinatingnan ko dun sa Technician sa office ok pa naman daw yung mga fuse. Ang sabi niya ipacheck ko na daw sa air con repair shop. Dahil baka yung magnetic clutch na ng compressor or yung mga relay ang may problem. San sila sir banda sa congressional?
