Bukod po sa dish washng liquids, anong klase pang mga sabon pwedeng gamitin para matanggal ang wax kapag nagpeprep for paint correction? Or during pre wash and wash stages, and decontamination, kusa na po bang natatanggal ang wax?

Chemical guys clean slate for one. Surface prep shampoo talaga siya. Pricey.

If you're going to clay or polish naman, the shampoo you use wont matter.

Sa Honda, particularly sa SPA, ni pressure washer yung engine bay without putting any cover. Kasama sa free car wash.

They've been doing this for years already.

What's the dilution ratio you use for applying perl at the engine bay?

1:1 dilution gamit ko. Intended for tires kasi eh. Ginamit ko lang pang engine.

Ako I use pressure washer and then either superclean degreaser or p&s brake buster (non-acidic) to clean the engine bay. Then after rinsing it down, spray the carpro perl and let dry. If you dont want it shiny, just wipe it down after.


On another note, I wash and clayed the beater car sa bahay and then used a new product. The product on the left.


I put on 2 coats as recommended. Lets see if it will last. Smells exactly the same as ung paint coating na ginamit ko dati.

1 week update on the microtex crystal fx hydrophobic spray coating (and it rained today, too!)

Washing the car last night was a breeze. Panels were slick to the touch. Wash pad just glides. Applied 2 coats again last night. And just now, it rained and beading looks nice and tight. If you let hose water run it off, its almost dry to the touch. Not a bad product.

Yes. At your suking hardware stores. Smells like my paint coating mismo. This contains Si02. Spray on wipe off, done.

Note: You cannot use it on the glass and headlights. They have a separate product for that.

Bro! update us din on how long the product lasts on the car. Yung CMX from Mother's lasted 2 months sa akin eh. If Microtex' product lasts as long, I will be switching to that. Locally made na, mura pa!

If thats the case, dapat pala di na ako magaapply ulit after i-wash ung car hehe cge simula tayo bilang ng Oct 20. Lets try one month no re-applying of product.
