Mga sirs, ok Po ba ung meguire's quick detailed to be used every week sa car wash? Thanks po. 😊
Thanks Po. Newbie kasi ako on everything about car and would like to do the maintaining by myself, parang ang hirap ipagkatiwala Ang baby ko hehehe. Ano pong madaming gamiting carnauba wax for a beginner like me. Thanks a lot! 😊
Since mag sstart ka palang mag detail, i would suggest mother's cleaner wax. One step wax sha, usually kasi kapag mag wawax, you need to prep the paint first. Bali claybar - polish - wax.
Among locally available OTC products, I'd probably go for Mother's California Gold Synthetic Wax - some cleaning ability, adds a bit of depth, and reasonably durable. Other OTC products that have reasonable durability would be 3M's Performance Finish, and Meguiar's Ultimate Wax. If you're willing to make the effort, I'd recommend getting a Collinite wax - 476 or 845 for lighter colors, 915 for darker ones. You can find various sellers of Collinite waxes over on Sulit.
Sirs, konting questions and clarifications lang sana. I just finished detailing our MS quartz brown and here's what i did mga sirs:
1. Wash
2. Dry
3. Clay (using nanosliq as qd diluted 1:1)
4. Wash (water only) then Dry
5. KAIO (WOWO method using microtex blue rectangular applicator pad)
6. KSG using micromagic foam applicator(let dry for 1 hour then buff using mf towel sprayed with diluted sliq again)
questions:
1. Did I do everything correct?
2. AFAIK I applied the twins thinly but still saw some hazing with both?
3. I still have some nanogloss and Formula 1 liquid carnauba wax but as sir ed mentioned gloss have some cleaners in it so is it ok to use F1 after the 24 hour curing or
4. Is it better to apply a second coat of KSG?
5. Saw a lot of micro and hairline scratches after the twins, what's the best to do regarding these?
Sorry for the noobie questions and TIA!
I'd have skipped the wash step after claying - you can instead wipe clean each panel as you finish with it. I'd also never wash a car with just water - always with car shampoo. Alternatively, you can do a rinseless or waterless wash, either of which will be quicker. Finally, I'd probably not have used a wet towel to remove the KSG residue, just in case that affects the product's curing process.
That's normal. One time-saving tip I've read about - you can apply the KSG on top of KAIO without having to wipe off the KAIO residue.2. AFAIK I applied the twins thinly but still saw some hazing with both?
I'd just apply another coat (or two or three) of KSG.3. I still have some nanogloss and Formula 1 liquid carnauba wax but as sir ed mentioned gloss have some cleaners in it so is it ok to use F1 after the 24 hour curing or
4. Is it better to apply a second coat of KSG?
Those will need to polished out, in the long run - short term, cover-up with a product that has some fillers (NanoSliq and Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax can do some covering-up).5. Saw a lot of micro and hairline scratches after the twins, what's the best to do regarding these?

Thanks Sir Umi. Im planning to put another coat of KSG today and approximately 16 hours cured already. Is it ok to put another coat already? I'll be using the car kasi and it might be parked outside overnight. Will it disturbed the curing process? Thanks again sir!
