First time user of Collinite 845. I've only read and watched reviews of it before pero grabe, totoo nga! Deeper shine on dark-colored cars. Ibang iba yung shine and gloss compared to cheap waxes

For water repellency, have yet to test it yet. Di ko muna binasa kasi "curing" pa raw siya

I am thinking of trying the Collinite 845 or 476s. They are available in Lazada for P1,100. Is this a good price? I wash my car once a month or so & usually apply a paste wax after. I don’t dust in between cause I don’t like it getting swirls.
Will these waxes mark on the plastics & rubber weather stripping?

^800 lang 845 ko noon bili ko, pero 4 - 5 years ago. napansin ko nga medyo nagtaasan na price nila. sulit parin 1.1k IMO, dahil matagal mo naman sya magagamit

yun 845 madali tanggalin (and di naman din halata kung malagyan man black trims), not sure sa 915 since paste material talaga. sya
IMO much better kung turtle wax ICE liquid or paste, di nagmamark sa plastic trim and in my experience, mas tumatagal vs 845 ; downside is di kasing kintab (subjective) ng 845

mag 845 or 915 ka na lang bro for ease of use than 476. i have not tried 476 pero based sa mga feedback dati dito, medyo mahirap i buff.

madali ipahid at i-buff bro yung 915 kahit paste siya. i apply din sa mga plastic trims ok din naman basta i wipe off din agad. btw, ensure and be careful lang na kapag paste wax ang gamit, huwag hayaan mga edges, crevices, emblems, trims etc. na may wax residue na maiwan else kapag hindi napunasan at natuyo mahirap tanggalin.

Thanks ninja. Dati na ko gumagamit ng Turtle Ice nung buy 1+1 sya. Ewan ko kung ilan gallon nagamit ko noon. Halata ko maganda sya in between major waxing to enhance pero di talaga tumatagal. Ok sya kasi madali tanggalin at no problemo ilagay under the sun. Pag nag bake pa sya, mas kumikintab. Gusto ko lang kasi itry itong Collinite kasi lahat kayo gumagamit.

845 is in liquid form so madali gamitin. you can warm it for few minutes in hot water to liquify if medyo creamy, then shake well. i had a small bottle before given free ng isang enthusiasts din dito and i like it. hindi pa ako nakabili ng malaking bottle at marami pa ako ibang waxes but its one wax that i want to have in my detailing items.

di ko pa na try yang TW Liquid wax but it has good reviews. sa spray waxes ang na try ko before is yung Optimum Car wax spray, maganda sa mga dark colors. i think nakaubos ako ng 2-3 bottles until i began buying/collecting boutique paste waxes and dumami na. i stopped buying since maiipon lang and mahirap ubusin. iirc, halos 3yrs inabot ng 915 ko before totally naubos yung laman ng lata. some waxes i have now konti lang bawas and i just use them depende sa anong makursunadahan ko. madalas gamit ko lately yung botny hydrophobic wax, matibay kasi at yung water repelling properties niya unmatched ng mga ibang waxes ko.

Sa TW, the really good one is the ICE. You can even apply it under the sun or on a hot surface. But one of these days, I’m going to buy me one of those orbital polishers from Lazada. Waxing is a chore.

From your experience, ilang months tumatagal si Liquid wax?

I use the spray waxes as a drying aid every 2-4 weeks to maintain the primary wax, and to also maintain the gloss.

1 month siguro (more than 700k km)
845 naman mga 500km
pero depende parin talaga sa panahon and sa byahe
pero mas maganda talaga kulay ng collinite and micro magic (yes yun nabibili sa blade na cheap lang)

Just finished detailing and coating my daily driver over the weekend. Natagalan ako sa pag polish. Nag-develop ng mf haze with m205. so had to follow it up with a foam pad ulit and m205. After that, mckee's paint prep (N-914 diluted 1:8) before carpro essence with finishing pad.

Paint prep again then started coating na with Mckee's Paint Coating. And then after that, put on a layer of Blackfire Si02 Spray Sealant.

Whew. Its been a tough weekend. Haha. Well worth it (I hope!)

First time owner lang din po.. Di ko pa kasi napapa ayos yung garahe.. In short bilad sa araw, tapos naulanan at dinikitan na ng alikabok yung puting sasakyan..

Plano ko lang po hugasan ng tubig lang.. maalis lang yung alikabok tapos tamang punas lang para matuyo.. Oks lang po ba yun?

Di ko pa po nagagamit sa public roads kasi wala pa OR/CR 1 month pa daw.. Kaya parang nakakatamad naman i car wash sya ng full.. Hehehe

wash and wax is always better. use a wash mitt for shampooing and a good microfiber towels to dry. apply wax and wipe off for protection, para kahit nasa open parking at maalikabokan, hindi kakapit ang alikabok at madaling linisin.

btw, save some time and read the 1st 10 pages of this thread to learn about proper washing.
