To those peeps na wondering gano kalaki yung Microtex Elite. I bought one even tho ang mahal. Pero I must say, its worth your money. Napatuyo ko yung car ko without even squeezing the towel. And to those (like me) na ayaw mag pa carwash sa labas, worth talaga to.

My friend, I think Starex_Gold recently bought a Elite JR? I think its half the price of this one. If you can find the JR, its also okay. Napatuyo nya naman daw yung car nya (IX35) with that towel. Mas hassle nga tong the one I got kasi it's really big lol

What is the proper way of using qd in a dry car with dust? What I do is, first I use duster to wipe off the dust and then spray qd, am I doing it right or wrong? 😕

When using a duster, you carry the weight of the duster, so that the duster will lightly touch the vehicle's paint, enough to remove surface dust. Then spray enough qd and wipe lightly with a plush microfiber towel folded in halves twice. Change sides of towel when it is dirty, more or less baka mka gamit ka ng 2-3 towels per car, depende sa dumi at laki ng sasakyan.

walang ONR na readily available sa malls. usually inoorder ito abroad or sa olx meron. havent tried ONR but plan to buy in a few weeks.

microtex is generally good. issue ko lang sa nanosliq is madami magstreak.

You dont expect QD's to last long, and dont depend on them to protect your car. What they are meant for is to help you dry your car (drying aid) and help your wax last longer, if your qd has some carnauba in it, like nano sliq. And also give that instant shine when you need one. Lastly help you remove bird bombs, without damaging your car's paint. Hope this does not confuse you more.

Thanks for the clarification. So what can help protect the car? The wax?

1st step really is ordinary ligo. most qd cannot or are expensive to substitute for a regular wash unless di gaanong nadumihan yang car niyo for 3 months.

after washing, para di kayo ma confuse sa detailing or waxing, read about or watch videos about mother's 3-step system and products. yan yung basic steps and products sa detailing and as far as i know for most of us, qd is step 4. for cheaper alternative meron din 3-step products yung microtex + nanosliq qd for step 4. but microtex does not explain or label its products as simple and good as mothers, so for learning purposes read about the system from mothers.

basic yang 3-steps in waxing, as you advance you will learn variations like claying instead of step 1 products of mothers and microtex. also rare products which do all 3 steps in 1.

if i were you, wash your car, apply 3-steps and step 4 qd is optional. for maintenance, repeat wash + step 3 only or step 4 only or both. Do entire 3-steps when you feel na magaspang na sa touch yung paint or dull yung kintab.

Tnx for the help... will read about mothers... buti na lng andito kayong mga expert to guide newbies like me. Haha.so im choosing the lesser evil.ako na lng mgkacarwash w/ tlc.. just gathering some inputs from this thread para lesser mistakes in the process. Ano po gamit nyo sa paglilinis ng windshield/windows? Ive been using microtex ultra plush in cleaning w/ zim glass cleaner.parang ang lagkit lng ng glass pgkalipas ng ilang araw kng paulit ulit nilalagyan.is there other quicker way of cleaning the windshield in lesser time?

learn from the gas station boys and use rubber squeegee. pero mahirap talaga, i rarely clean windows myself kung hindi sabay car wash. gas boys make it look easy though. kung ayaw niyo po malagkit banlawan niyo or use formula 1, may wax yata ito kaya madulas

Usually sinasabay ko na windshield/window cleaning on my scheduled wash. Kung wala naman gaano dirt/stains from the glass, i use any ammonia-free glass cleaners and plush MF towels. Ammonia-free cleaners are safe on exterior/interior/tinted glass. Armor all and Turtle Clear Vue are some of the products and are readily available on blade stores and diy shops.
