[QD] Mothers vs Meguiars

From my experience:

I would prefer Mothers.

Mothers California Gold Instant Detailer:

- Easy to apply.
- Glossier finish.
- Cost less 500PHP in blade.

Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer:

- Hard to apply: I had to buff a few more times to see it shine.
- Not so shiny compared to Mothers.
- Costs 1000PHP in blade.

But it could just be me, I could be doing something wrong. Comments anyone...

ill been using moms and megs QD for almost a year na, so far so good, especially the moms showtime QD, but when i try TW platinum QD im surprised the TW outshines the moms and megs QD

try ko to pag naubos na megs ko. how much po TW? Is this the ICE variety?

Tried TW platinum instant qd and eagle 1 wipe n shine, much better ang TW qd, i havent tried mothers and mequiar yet. TW qd cost around P500+ yata, not sure basta less than P600

TW platinum QD is not the ICE TW product, Platinum QD is around 380 pesos

Parejo yatang magaganda ang Meg at Mothers. Dami naka display sa Blade, di ako makadecide. Sabi ng sales rep nila, kanya kanya kasing preference yon. Parejong magagaling na car care daw.

Sometimes hindi sa kintab or gaano kadaling gamitin ang tinitignan kung hindi how it protects the paint of the car and how long the shine last... I'm using Meg NXT Tech Wax 2.0...

Nasubukan ko na rin ang NXT Tech Wax. Sulit siya. Tumatagal talaga.

Personally, mas pipiliin ko yung mas makintab kesa nagtatagal, kung Quick Detailers ang pinaguusapan (yung wax ibang usapan na yun, pero masipag naman ako mag-wax so preferred ko pa rin yung shiniest)

For QDs, I think the best one is neither Mothers not Meguiars... I agree with some who posted about the Turtle Wax Platinum QD. It gives the best shine IMHO. Da best din ang presyo (P300+)... cheaper than Mothers and Meguiars, so I don't have second thoughts about this product.

FWIW, Turtle Wax Platinum carnauba paste ang gamit kong wax. For P500+, mas makintab ang kotse ko ngayon kesa dun sa friend kong naka Meguiars na P1500+. And take note, my car is light colored, his is black which we all know has higher shine potential.
