kaya ba ng Chrome Dazzler na i-chrome ang plastic? Natanggal na kc ung chrome sa plastic grille ng kotse, gusto ko sana irestore ung original finish nya. Yung nabibili kc na spray paint eh malayo ang kulay sa original.

Otep, so anong process ang ginamit ng car manufacturer para magkaroon ng chrome finish ung grill ng mga car? Thanks

the process is similar to gold/silver platting of non-metallic surfaces. like ba yung gold plating ng flowers, etc. they used to teach that at neda for free, kaso they stopped the seminars already long way back. yung sa plastic "chrome" they use aluminum yata eh.

Follow up question:
Paano po mareremdyuhan kung may nasunog na part sa plastic chrome grill? Balak ko sana pagawa na rin kung meron kayong alam na magaling gumawa.

Ungas, kaya cguro ng masilya ung sunog na part ng plastic grille mo. Yung nga lang pa paint mo pagkatapos...
Yung sa akin kc ay sinubukan kong pinturahan ng nabibiling spray paint na chrome finish daw (around P300 sa Handyman). ang lumabas na kulay ay more on silver finish, not chrome or nikelado na tinatawag. Sagwa nga eh....gawin ko na lang cgurong black.

Di naman po malalim yung sunog na part. Nag-chip-off lang yung chrome material. Para kasing nadikitan ng nagdiklap na kuryente, it's about an inch long.
